    It doesn't matter. It's my money, I should be able to do with it what I see fit. If I want to save it, I should be able to save it. If I want to invest, I should be able to invest it. If I want to spend it, then I should be able to spend it. If you want to give your money to the monster we call the federal government, by all means, go ahead, but don't force everyone else who is capeable of managing their own money to.
