You live in Belgium or Iceland, Sara? What's it like there? Are the schools strict or easy going? I forget now where you are from. I know it was cold there in one of your pics. .
I live in Iceland I don't like it here, can't stand it actually.. but i guess it's pretty cool for tourists. The schools here are very easy going, well most of them at least
That's good they're easy going. I've gone through some very strict schools. You must see the northern lights great, being near the arctic circle. The sun must skirt the horizon overnight up there in June. I've thought about going on a short trip up north in Canada on the solstice just to see the very long days. .
yeah we can see the northern lights very cearly here, it's one of the things i love about winter And yeah, the days are really long in the summer, the sun shines almost the entire day... it can be kinda annoying though, specially when you're trying to fall asleep at night lol where do you live shaggie?
I'm from the U.S. midwest. We get all weather here, burning hot pavement in the summer, snow and ice in the winter, long days summer, short days in the winter. I can see auroras sometimes but the city lights screw things up. There's lots of nice trails and woods around my area that I like to walk. It's peaceful and relaxing. .
oh sounds great I'm definitely gonna move to the U.S someday, i'd like to live in a place like you described.. cause i love hot summers, but i couldn't imagine christmas without snow lol
There's a little of everything in the U.S.- desert areas, coasts, lakes, rivers, plains, mountains. There's some beautiful land in the South and georgeous land in the Mountain states. I think you'd like it here. The trees in the Southern states like Kentucky and Tennessee are huge, much larger than what I've seen up north. They have a beauty about them. I have to visit Europe sometime. I've never been there. U.S. and Canada are mainly where I've been. .
yeah there's a little of everything here too, but i don't know.. this place is just so small and isolated.. But yeah i've heard that it's really beautiful in Tennessee, i've always wanted to go there. Let me know if you ever decided to come to Iceland, i'll show you around
Thanks! I've heard Iceland is still a fairly young country. I don't know too much about it. I like things that are different, though. .
haha, well usa is a few hundret years old, you must know that... and you must also know that there were vikings on iceland, the last vikings died on greenland at about 1000 Anno Domini... Therefore, iceland older
