In the longer version (no fade-out) it repeats at the end.

Have you heard his version? Quite different from the Sinead O'Connor hit single. I like both.

He wrote for others mainly because the record company limited the quantity of music he could record and release each year, and he was writing at a much faster pace. He wanted to record and release it all.

I have heard his version of the song and I really liked it. You can tell he wrote it as he emotes differently but very much in the pocket on it. I am surprised how few people know how much other material he has written. Once you know and you listen to the track you can not help but wonder why you did not know it was his material as it is distinctive in sound.

I also respect that he did not do that song until years after she did. I think that was his way of giving due respect to her achievement with the song.

There was just too much focus on the big hits. Have you ever heard him do a simple ballad in his own natural voice, with only an acoustic guitar? I heard one on the radio recently. Very nice. First guess, before I looked at the screen, was Michael Jackson. Last night, they played a similar ballad with only a piano.

His sister was appointed estate executor yesterday. I still can't believe he didn't have a will, for that much money.

I like it. No micro-managing life from the other side. He's gone. Why would he care?

Let them sort it out themselves. I like it. The way of the artist.

Mainstream media is now reporting that Prince was likely addicted to prescription painkillers. The day after his death, he had an appointment set up with an addiction specialist. He had a legitimate need for these drugs due to hip joint damage. This is the way addiction to this kind of drug normally begins, not with recreational use.

[Personally, I have no problem with recreational drug use.]

According to the doctor's lawyer, Prince was voluntarily seeking help with his situation. He didn't like what was going on.

These drugs are very useful, but also very dangerous.

when coupling physical exhaustion with opiates, even taken as prescribed. risk of cardiac arrest and respiratory depression is higher ..
also very easy to forget that they already had taken them due to the foggy effect they have too.
when I had the flu for the week, I was dropping percocets like they was candy. that and cough medicine, sudafed. took days just to recover off the drugs effects too..
my chest hurt so much and I could feel the stress it was taking on my heart as well .. and with these assholes building a road around my house, was near impossible to get some rest.

Not really a fan - although do aknowledge that he was a talented individual writer/performer and - "Sign of the Times" I thought was really poignant

The Vultures are swarming

http://abcnews.go.com/Entertainment/princes-estate-receives-paternity-claim/story?id=38995556

A man claiming to be the biological son of Prince has come forward.

Carlin Q. Williams filed paperwork in a Minnesota probate court today, in which he requested DNA testing.

His also petitioned to be determined as the late singer's "the sole surviving heir."

Prince died late last month at the age of 57, and afterward, his sister, Tyka Nelson, filed paperwork stating that she did not believe he had a will. As a result, Bremer Trust has been appointed to manage the music legend's estate.

Prince died of accidental overdose of opioid fentanyl, medical examiner says

http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/02/health/prince-death-opioid-overdose/

Ramsey, Minnesota (CNN)Toxicology tests for Prince concluded that the entertainer died from an accidental overdose of the opioid fentanyl, according to a report on his death by the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office.

Fentanyl, prescribed by doctors for cancer treatment, can be made illicitly and is blamed for a spike in overdose deaths in the United States. It's 25 to 50 times more potent than heroin and 50 to 100 times more potent than morphine, according to the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

Fentanyl is no joke. I don't think it should be prescribed except in a hospice situation
