Pretentious signature thing's

i think it's a tad pretentious to post that someone is pretentious for making a thread about how pretentious people are...

anyway, the most colorful sig i can thinik of is snocbor's gif... which is fucking badass... so fuck off and let people have their personal expression, the only sigs that are unacceptable are the ones that are so huge that every time a person posts in a thread the window gets a horizontal scroll bar.

and i like my sigs.

i dont really care one way or another, as long as the picture doesnt make the posts really wide to fit it, then i have to scroll over to read them. pretty much what zilla said.

anyway, i think my signature is pretty badass, so i'm not changing it until i want to.

 

O.k let me clear this up for you, we are in the random thoughts thread, I had a random thought...

The thought was, after noticing that in quite a few of instances a poster's signature was in fact much longer than the statement's that they had made in their post's I had a "random thought" the random thought was, "Why do people use such long and at times tedious signatures for their post's.

So to rephrase my statement I suppose it should sound more like this,

"Why are people using such elaborate signatures, it's almost as if they want there statements or idea's to be overshadowed by something they consider to be more brilliant in a way."

I think you guys are brilliant enough without adding a huge picture's or long three paragraph diatribes from some long dead philosopher at the bottom of your post about how you burned the toast that morning.

I don't want to disable signatures there's many that I enjoy. As should be obvious at this point I just like to bitch.

I also like the sound of a keyboard being used when i'm stoned, hence the long post.

All I'm doing is offering my opinions on this very minuscule topic, I had no idea people would begin to take so much offense to it.

I never said I found her pretentious, or anyone for that matter, I have not called out a single person by name nor will I.

Besides looking at your post's I'm sure people will have an easier time deciding what is gaudy and just for attention versus what is honest conversation.
