I think you youngsters should investigate why stuff like this is not acceptable. What it implies is that Obama's reply was just a reply to his master. Perhaps that's acceptable to your generation, it's not to mine. I will not step down and allow meme or catch phrases to to catch me up into undermining others through marketing forces. Perhaps that's what the McCain campaign supports.
The only one appearing ignorant are those using this sort of meme or what ever you choose to call it. And it isn't cute. It's a racial slur.
LOL! i just realized that you are 58 years old. now i understand sorry culture passed you by old guy, i'll remember who i'm talking to next time. this reminds me of a conversation i saw the other day, abunch of teenagers were in the mall a few months ago with some old women around and when one of the teenagers told the other that he looked "pimp" (which isn't even cool to say anymore but they were suburban so it understandable), the old ladies got mad cause they of course know pimps are violent and misogynistic criminals, but of course thats not what the teenagers meant at all, they weren't saying anything negative about women or anything positive about prostitution, they just didn't want to say that the outfit looked "bully" or whatever word for "cool" that old people use, anyway the ladies went up to this rentacop to complain (he was like mid 30s) and he just gave them a look, me and my girl were laughing so hard, but it made for interesting conversation... anyway, motives come into play here, and it was/is obvious my intentions were not to demean a fellow MR individual by using commonly known vernacular that does not carry racial conotations for 99% of those who use/hear it. But you seem like the kind of guy who would berate lil' wayne for sayin "nigga", which would be awfully humourus cause i'll bet $50.00 right now that you're an old white guy. "realist humanist" from nothern cali kind of sums it up nicely anyway lol dont be a PC tool, you know better And you said "you youngsters"! YOU YOUNGSTERS!?!?!?! LMAO! that means "laughing my ass off" btw ("by the way") sorry if it offends in some old guy way that i'm not aware of.
chill out it had nothing to do with that! Its slang. that's it. Its just funny because it relates to lolcats and caturday.
Sounds to me like Gardener is one of those "get off my lawn" types. "Those darn young 'uns with their crazy internets and slang! It must be a conspiracy!!"
No it's not just slang, I haven't seen anything similar used against McCain. It's racist. If your generations want to drop down into that sort of acceptance, that's your choioce but I am not buying into it.
BREAKING NEWS Old guy doesn't like how youngsters talk nowadays! NEXT AT 11 Wants to know why milk costs more than a nickle!

Things I noticed: -McCain comes off like a 5 year old in a candy store with his defenses. -McCain seemed to feel the need to defend himself or attack Obama instead of answering any questions. -Obama looked at McCain at the end when they shook hands, McCain looked the other way without even acknowledging Obama. -Obama addresses McCain as "John" where McCain addresses Obama as "Senator Obama"....Just shows Obamas "down to earthness" compared.. I seriously wonder about any human being who is even thinking about voting for McCain, after this debate the obvious winner should be Obama. McCain is truly the same as Bush, and just as fake, you can clearly see it in his eyes and facial expressions, and even mannerisms. And although I am not at all pleased with either of the candidates, Obama seems very well a likely leader. Peace
I noticed that McCain never looked at Obama. And that he really does look like a robot when he moves.
I though it was very disrespectful. McCain is a vetern, his elder, and he is a Sr. Senator while Obama is a Jr. Senator, McCain showed civility and respect when addressing Obama by the title he earned by being elected to his current position by his Ill. constituency, i wish Obama had done the same. this was a Presidential debate not tea at the capitol. I would have been equally bothered if Obama had refered to McCain has Senator while McCain refered to Obama as Barack.
