Part (a) Soto Mayor is also correct in traditional Spanish. I lived in a Spanish neighborhood and know people by the same name. They spell it the way I spelled it. Your spelling is an English/American conjugation of Soto and Mayor. Part (b) The racism that I point to has its orgin in the White Christian Republican extremists in the Senate. President Obama is attempting to reduce racism in America. His court appointments have been admirable.
Trumpy is still harping about Obama's birth place. Hannity, Levin, Limbaugh, and Cunningham are all still crying about our Muslim President who went to school at a Madrasa in Indonesia.
America has expolded 369 nukes all over this planet, and killed millions of civilians. America has exploded 80 million bombs on Laos, a nation with only 7 million people. That comes to 11 bombs for every person in that country. America has carpet bombed Hanoi, killing tens of thousands of innocent civilians. America has killed nearly two million Iraqi civilians. Tens of thousands of Panamanian people were killed by American troops when America decided that country needed a new government. From these examples we can deduce that America has a habit of exterminating entire populations. That is something which goes by another name: ETHNIC CLEANSING. Naturally, we can ask a Native American what they think about the extermination of their people. Just this week Sioux protesters had dogs unleashed on them in North Dakota. Dora must be from your country.
I also wish Muslims worldwide would talk more about Christian persecution in Muslim countries. But they don't really give a fuck. I thought I'd leave that here, since we're throwing around all these issues
Have you noticed that nobody refers to Neil Armstrong as "the first white man on the moon"? Though I did hear a rather unpleasant song about it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=goh2x_G0ct4
Muslims all over the world condemn persecution of Christians. Muqtada Sader the Shia leader in Iraq has sent his fighters to protect Christians. Haidar Abadi has ordered Iraqi troops to Protect them. Grand Ayatula has condemned persecution of Christians. Bashar Assad in Syria has done a good job of protecting Christians. SISI in Egypt has provided the Coptic Christians with good protection. All the protection has been taking place because of the Wahabist Islamic State's barbaric treatment of all people, not just Christians. ISIS has killed more Muslims than Christians. You should ask yourself where ISIS gets its money and guns?
Merrick Garland is plenty white and he will not receive a Congressional hearing about Our President nominating him to the supreme court. Is this racism?
It wasn't a big issue in Syria according to 'my' syrian refugee friend. Sooo... why should he talk about it for your convenience or peace of mind? He is against it but has not been confronted with it whatsoever. Just because you don't hear him and people like him about it (if you don't ask them) doesn't mean he doesn't gives a fuck at all. Unfortunate conclusion.
And Iraq and Laos have exactly what to do with this topic? Of course it wasn't a big issue in Syria according to your (Muslim, I guess) Syrian friend. Does that mean it really wasn't a big issue? I mean, one person said it so it's true. Unfortunate conclusion. Unfortunately, what I heard is VERY different. This is an issue people like to ignore because caring for Christians is not very "in" these days. And of course Muslim immigrants are not going to acknowledge it properly. Your liberal mind has already been trained enough, unfortunately.
I'm not making any conclusions here: except about the muslims I know. I KNOW they are not in favor of christian persecution and also think they say what they say not because they don't give a fuck but because they have not been confronted with it. This is not to say it doesn't happen at all I'm merely saying you wish them to speak out about issues they do know nothing about (just as much as the average western citizen I guess). And when you ask them about it they would say they are against it. So whats the point wishing these people would speak out against christian persecution, it is not their issue, they do not condone it, they often have not seen it in person. You say they have but you don't know that. You only know that perhaps about some examples you've met or took notice of. I don't get your first sentence about Iraq and Laos? Probably missing something.
Muslims should not be held back in this country, many are escaping their home country. They have been persecuted by Islamic Extremist Terrorism more than anyone. For the most part they are trying to live peacefully like Christians do. Problem is, Islamic Extremists can sneak into America blended in with Muslims. It's like the comparison on Facebook about having 10,000 M&M's with 100 terrorists hidden in the bag. You can't tell them apart. Like Rudy Giuliani said, we have to go on defense with this issue and truly find out who is who. Not an easy task.
