Every time I lam her on HIP I look to see if I have had any PMs. from her.
I check my E. Mails regular.

Nothing at this moment in time 11.45pm 20th February 2021.
Very worried now.

Actually and not brought on by what is going on with Angel.
My Blood Pressure has been shooting up really high.
Yesterday morning it was 194 over 90 which is stage 4 hypertension.
This means that combined with my Atrial Fibrillation I am at risk of a stroke or heart attack or heart failure to name just three.

HELP!

 

Ok, do the breathing excises I taught you years ago. xxx
I can't tell you enough times to stop worrying. xxx

Let's concentrate on poor Angel as I am concerned she is in far greater peril than me.

I only just received the below E. Mail from Angel Godiva at 23.15pm.

Back home but still mostly blind; still in a lot of pain too but blood infection cleared away.
Love to all.

I am so pleased to have received that, but obviously she still has some way to go before she is back to normal.

At least her blood infection has cleared up but hardly being able to see combined with pain must still be horrible for her.

I am sorry to hear that she has been unwell, I have only been around for a few hours over the last few weeks, so I somehow missed this thread.
Once the antibiotics have done their job, her sight should start to return to normal, but it can take about 14 days before she sees a marked improvement. this can take even longer if the bacterial infection was triggered by a virus.
In the meantime, we must keep her in our thoughts. When you speak to her again, please give her my regards and mention what I have just said. It is better for her to know the timescale, rather than get depressed and worried.
Doctors are often reluctant to estimate recovery times with older people for fear of causing stress and depression, but in my opinion, the truth actually helps to relieve stress.

 

Our prayers worked.
We have our very own Angel back in the fold.

 

My heart goes out to her still.
