i'm half and half with this topic... right now, i love drinking. i dont' do anythign else. and right now, i can't smoke...so i'm living off of booze. i can't smoke cuz i can get drug tested anytime by my school since i'm a collegiate athlete...so, i drink... but when i can smoke, i like smoking better than drinking...
I once made the mistake of having too much merlot one night. Jesus christ I thought summer party hangovers were bad, and I had another thing coming. I think I'd rather die than go through a wine hangover again. But as for drinking and smoking, it gets me really cotton mouthed. So like someone said here yay for mikes, because I can get drunk and high. So wehres the both option?
I love the taste of alcohol, even of hard liquor. (I prefer drinking it straight for the flavor.) Too many harsh effects though.
red wine is notorious for its bad effects later on. also, when your really pissed on red wine, its more probable youll spew everywhere and be totally fucked. is it the antioxidants? anyway, i only drink nowadays if someone else pays for it, like at parties or something. I use to drink all the time. it used to be my baby. how young and naive i was. i drink hard booze if i can, with water. it is the best combination ive found, for getting pissed, while feeling absolutely ace. beer makes me chuck up and piss heaps, and i hate the taste of most beers (but not all) wine is good but red wine can be too much sometimes, white can go down all night but my favourite.. next to scotch and various liquers.,. are girl drinks. who cares if theyre made for girls, other people are paying for them, and they taste great! but i dont think ill choose alchohol over weed any time soon at parties, i agree that being stoned and drunk is the best mix. but more stoned than drunk I LOVE WEED!
Buds rather than booze anytime but I like that Coconut Rum stuff they make in Jamaica?Haiti? I think. I forget what it's called but they mix a bunch of stuff up and it's really sweet
ha ha, forgot to say, I'm 21 now, I can get really drunk and it's ok. Wan know what I did? Smoked a big fat bowls all night and had maybe 1 beer. 21 s' not that big a deal because most people get plowed their 1st a long time before that.
does the 21 age limit tend to leave 21 year olds the heaviest drinkers or purchasers of alchohol in america?
I don't know if it does or not but alot of people get really excited about 21 and get really, really drunk and throw up alot.
I was the same way, minus the bowl. I was at the bar, couldn't really light up... but I had a few very weak shots (girly shit, but it was free and being put in front of me...), maybe two beers, and a shot of jose quervo. Together about equal to 4 drinks. I spaced it out over 3 or 4 hours, cuz i don't like getting drunk. Weird when you're the one who just turned 21, but are still the best suited to drive. Drinking just isn't a big deal to me.
Neither is bad, if you don't abuse it. (key phrase, "don't abuse it") But if you are going to get trashed, It has been my experience, weed does a lot less harm... The only true freedom anyone has, is figuring stuff out for yourself. Experiment, learn from your mistakes and open your mind...
Living in scotland (not that i want to stereotype us or say that im normal) i started drinking when i was 14, its disgusting i know! But i didnt start smoking till i was about 16. Im now 20 and live in a flat with other guys who dont really smoke so id say its far more normal for me to get in a few cans of stella or just go down the pub than it is to smoke. Dont get me wrong tho, i still love a nice toke and had a great time on friday nite on weed, booze and shrooms.
I like to smoke a lot more. I can't drink more than 3 of anything or I'm bombed and sick. I highly doubt I'll go crazy when I turn 21. I've been places where I could legally drink and I still stick to my limits.
Drinkings good for parties but smoking is great wen ur bored But i would deffinelty agree that being droned is the best (drunk and stoned)... all the perks of being drunk but with no hang over and the feeling of being high!
i prefer ganja. its affects are less likely to be obvious, you get messed up faster, and you're better impaired at your most high than you'd ever be at your most drunk. weed all the way!
