i love smoking so much more. ever since i first tripped i realized that there really is no benefit to drinking. i still do it every now and then, but id choose bud over bud anyday

Hmmm, well. I think overall pots better. Although since starting college, I've rediscovered alcohol. There are effects unique to both, that I LOVE. Like with pot, I like how you can just completely get lost in music. With alcohol, I like how you can just roll around on the ground, saying random shit to yourself, and feel fucking awesome. I also think alcohol is a better drug to use if you had a bad day and want to completely forget about shit. But if your doing something like going somewhere, like a concert, pots much better. And fuck, I smoke weed almost daily, but if I drank daily, I'd be... er... Mel Gibson I suppose. On Saturday mornings, I'm likely to say alcohols the devil, do to the MASSIVE hangovers I get.

I'd rather drink than smoke any day. I think when I joined the forums (a little over a year ago) I was pretty neutral about the subject, but I've grown a lot in the last year. :cheers2:

What does growing up gotta do with it? Growing up to the fact that taking something that damages the brain and body is better? Or perhaps the more likely thing is that you woke up to the fact that as you get older, pot gets a lot more difficult to use and paranoia-inducing in some uptight inside folks, and thus alcohol that causes no paranoia and less inhibitions is so much better for a weakened mind.

 

I guess for me smoking is better but I have fun with both. Getting "crunk" is always nice too haha.

why are you arguing with me about my choice? I still smoke pot, pretty frequently as a matter of fact.. I just drink differently than I used to, for example, 2/3 glasses of wine as opposed to a whole bottle of vodka.

and I've gotten paranoia from smoking since I started.. and have still smoked over the years. I highly doubt I have a weak mind, I just grew to love drinking more.

drink a couple glasses of wine and report how about feel, then smoke a couple of joints and report how you feel. to me it's obvious that the wine would make one feel a lot better... but then again, to you, the bud might make you feel a whole lot better. it's the beauty of having your own opinion.

I definitely agree with sundog25... but I would rather have them both legal, I mean its already accepted that alcohol prohibition didn't work, and did far more harm than good. Same goes with with pot, and its only a mater of time before the vast majority of people see that....

About this thread. I personally think pot is the perfect drug. I mean, it will make you act goofy and say funny stuff, but it won't make you completely retarded and invalid like with alcohol. You can't overdose. It doesn't have any hangover or lingering effects. It doesn't make you violent, in fact it makes you more peaceful than normal. Also (this is a sort of stoned revelation I just had), the euphoria alcohol produces is way more artificial, I mean, you might go up to a wall, and rub yourself on it, and feel completely happy about it... which is just stupid. With pot, most of the euphoria originates from some sort of revelation. And with pot I think allot about my future and stuff, and it makes me happy, but with alcohol only that moment in time matters. IDK, its hard to explain cus im stoned.

This is probably one of the oldest questions in the free world, to give you my simple (and greedy if you will) answer:

Wouldn´t want to live without neither of them, have come to value both for their own specific pleasures, which seem to have been discussed endlessly here.
