Very Simple!! A popular vote just makes sense. It's fair. It's simple.

i dont know, honestly. i'm not sure what the possibilities are. The third party candidates..be it nader or perot, pretty much stop it from happening. If you removed the third party, i assume it could happen.

I think 2000 was a fluke(with all the problems). So many votes werent counted(military votes, chads, etc). I think if florida voted under ideal conditions in 2000, i think gore woulda won..and he woulda won both the electoral and popular..

I used the latest US Census numbers, which are the basis for apportioning EVs.

What are you really interested in...localizing government, or blindly trusting dead people who you perceive as being smart?

You only need half of those 55% to win the state

No he won't. Your logical fallacy is assuming that if one voter realizes the truth, all of them will.

Way to take an example out of context, instead of addressing the meat of my previous post. Why not just say "You forgot Poland" while you're at it.

I'm glad to be wrong about one of my predictions; there doesn't seem to be a post election lawsuit season. Regardless of your preference, there won't be another 6 weeks of uncertainty while lawsuits wind their way through the various court systems.
