Wow, who needs a TV when you have all that around you. Love the pics, Arcata looks like a nice place to chill or just relax. Lucky you.
Here's some pictures of my favorite spot in the entire area, a little waterfall hidden off of the river.
You can't see how high the falls are here, but this is Steve - my girlfriend's boyfriend. This was a neat little spot us students found to get wet in Trois-Pistoles. I'm the one wearing the black bikini:
Sorry for the poor quality. I took these pics with my phone on Monday. A view of the power plant from the road I live on. A picture of the swamp behind my house.
Ooh, Tree-Hugger, that's right outside your house? Beautiful. Here's what's right outside my house: A homeless guy taking a dump in the alley. (Okay, maybe not right now, but that has happened.)
Well I have to walk down the road a bit to see the swamp and the power plant. When I look out the doors or windows all I see are trees.
Trees are still better than homeless guys defecating. Cap, I did of course take pics but they're under my pillow right now.
Isn't it beautiful? Aside from the Coke can and the Gatorade bottle, that is. And the Gatorade was ours, we were keeping it cold in the water, lol.
