It were the dark ages. They would tap off your blood in an attempt to cure you.. Just sayin And sometimes a soul gets stuck real good. You just gonna leave it in there then!?

 

No I get it, I know about their idiotic medical practices back then- removing bad blood and all that nonsense. I’ve just never saw or heard of the other nonsense.

 

I will admit the other nonsense was just creative thinking on my part :-D

 

That’s pretty interesting! That place has to be riddled with ghosts- I think I would find it hard to work there.

I'm reading Candide which is a novel that satirizes it's 18th century world when it was written and it makes Game of Thrones seem like wholesome Family Entertainment.



(I've only seen a few episodes of GoT, statement was probably a bit hyperbolic)

 

For the life of me I never had any interest in watching it, but when I finally did, I admit- I got hooked!!

 

I think I would have thoroughly enjoyed it had I consistently watched it when it was on but now it's over and I've heard too many murmurings about a disappointing ending and a lot of the story.

But if it depicts ass cheeks being sliced off to provide food during a famine maybe I'll consider it, Candide has just about piqued my interest as to what that might look like.
