I'm saddened. No one remembers Fred Tenner's Place???

 

I remember it, but it was Fred Penner, not Tenner. You'll know it if you see it, and you'll see it if you try. He was great.

 

green outfit, little red hat pointy hat. that was the thing about gnomes in the context of that show. they wore those pointy red hats. the leaving things out for each other, you know that's a custom of many origens, to be nice to little forrest spirits for their blessing and to bless them. tom bosely sounds right. but i have no idea for sure. father dowling mysteries were on pbs. no penner/tenner anyplace where i was at the time, nor heard of other then here and now. babar i only know of from seeing the children's books. always figured it was some kind of republican propiganda for plyable young minds because it featured and elephant. well that was before i heard of, ach, now i can't remember the name, that hindu elephant guy that likes milk.
