Plants are fucked. There is no other way to explain it. Are these things really 'alive' as in terms that we say people are 'alive' with a brain and emotions? Plants can feel pain when they are in distress they actually release hormones into the air warning other plants near by that they are in trouble. So are these emotions does this make these organisms ‘alive’? Its kind of like a scream in a way you rip a leaf off of a plant and it screams, it feels it. So is a plant 'alive' or just living? They are a whole different thing compared to humans they are such a simple life form where their entire existence is survival and reproduction and this they have no control over, it is where they have grown, where their seed was sown, that they will die and they have no other purpose in life even if they wanted it, even if they COULD want it. Humans are more in control of our survival and it has really mindfucked us all we have grown into a society that is all about external needs and suddenly our existence is not so simple. I envy plants as a plant is happy no matter what even if it is being burned away in a forest fire it does not think “oh so this is what death is” it is still growing right up until the point its entire being is turned to ash and dust. Ya I could expand more but I have not slept in 3 days hahahah :|
yeah your right alexa, all it is is just simple life forms like bugs and organisms and stuff. But i do not see how someone can envy a plant because us humans are blessed with this amazing mind, body, awareness, etc. I am just so greatful to be human, we have it best off imo, because we can choose to do whatever we want, and we can feel the true bliss of happiness unlike plants which don't even know when they are happy or sad. Being a plant would suck so bad imo, but i guess i you feel that life is too complicated as a human, than i guess i could see why you would want to be a plant.
Plants defenitly can feel although they do not feel like we animals feel. They feel on a different level of existance. These are just feelings unknown to us. So pain for them isn't pain like we experience.
lol i dun want to be aplant it just must be so serene to be as simple as a plant BUT i love my life i wouldnt give my life up for anything but its like an autistic kidd they are simpler but much happier in the way that most of themdont know theres anyhting wrong with them..... i donti dentify with plants im the complete opposite i am a loud vile obnoxious human and i love it
