Plan B isn't so bad. The hardest part is going to purchase it or get it from Planned Parenthood. I've used Plan B and known many, many, many other women who have used it multiple times. Plan B can be used for anything pregnancy preventative related from sex with a partner, to unplanned condom breaks and rape. The hardest part is getting over the pride and relinquishing yourself to actually go get it. ** It is NOT birth control **

For me, I got cramps, had medium pelvic pain and was exhausted. Plan B can also cause bleeding.

Ladies, guard your rights! The "Ultra" conservatives and "Christian Right" will go to ANY LENGTH to take away the rights that your mothers fought for in the 50's, 60's and 70's.
I don't care if you like or use Plan B or not but don't let the conservaties take away the rights you won.

    Kinky? :S
I've never thought that about the pill lol

    I have taken it.
It's something I don't like taking and haven't taken in quite a while.
Basically, if I'm remembering correctly, you need to take it no later then the first 3 days after sex. The longer you wait, the more likely it wont work.

As for side affects, it's uncomfortable.
It's more like period cramps and nausea all at the same time.
There are other side affects that women experience but, those were basically the only two I had.

I recently took Plan B. The condom fell off and well, I freaked out! I bought it at CVS, $50. I didn't notice any side effects except that my cycle started a week later. My cycles are mess up anyway, so I'm not 100% sure it was from that.

I will be discussing with my doctor birth control (or a more permanent solution). It wasn't needed until recently.

I recently had to take it again after a condom failure (screw those things, done with 'em).

No immediate side effects, but a few days after taking it I spotted for 3 days. Then my "real" period was a month late. Talk about a mind fuck. I guess side effects like this could be a real issue for girls who don't have easy access to pregnancy tests.

Plan B is for use as an "emergency" method to prevent pregnancy. As such it is safe and very effective. It does nothing to protect you from any "sexually transmitted disease" . Condoms, properly used do give a good level of protection from disease, not 100%, but far better than finding out that your one night stand has HIV.
