Also I think it's true about how much pits love people and I think it's why they can be used by bad people sometimes. They are very eager to please, therefore very obedient, therefore easily abused and easily hurt. But yes, it totally depends on their background.

I don't have much experience with Pit Bulls. My only interaction:

I was taking a walk once and encountered a pit bull standing on the sidewalk. I was admittedly nervous. Anyhow, the dog started following behind me and continued for a few minutes. I turned around and looked at it, and it sort of cocked its head and stared right at me. I kept walking and it kept following, for about a half mile.

I thought something was strange and I checked his collar (I was afraid to do this, but hey, the dog was obviously displaced), his owners name was on the collar, and he had some stereotypical pit name, I think it was Crusher. There was a man outside with his kids (who he proceeded to nervously shield from the dog) and I asked if he knew the guy who owned the dog, and he said the owner lived a few miles away, said the dude was really peculiar and to be careful.

So after a bit of wandering, I finally found the guys house. He was some fat man in a wife beater and he was outside cutting shit with a chainsaw. His house was heavily fenced in and there were about 1000 "Beware of Dog" signs all over his fence. I asked him..."hi, I found this dog, does it belong to you?" And he just said...."Yep." Then he stared at me and started yelling at the dog.

So I left :-D. The dog was pretty inoffensive, he was friendly to me, but judging by the multitude of signs, I'm not sure how friendly he was to everyone else!

Didn't one of your dogs recently do the same to one of your other dogs though?

I never knew I drank "fruity flavored" beers. I drink a wide assortment of beers. Of the hundreds of different beers I have had over the last 10 years, maybe 3% of them have been fruit beers. There are good and bad fruit beers, just like there are good and bad beers of every style. To dog a beer just because it's a fruit beer is pretty fucking retarded.

My family has a german shepherd, I just saw him again today. It reminded me I don't ever want a pittbull  He's the best. I also love mutts. In general I'm pretty indifferent to pittbulls. On an individual basis I know they can be great dogs. But they simply don't suit me.

I briefly had a dog, and then gave it to my cousin.
I am now again scared of all dogs equally. I don't discriminate.

I'll never touch a Coors... Can't support a company that dumps 25,000 gallons of wasted beer into prime trout streams...

My stache doesn't curl enough for me to enjoy fancy over priced over hopped drool... Forgive me...

Now stop getting all huffy and puffy... You're looking more like a bloated rat.

He didn't actually mean fruit flavored beer. I've had countless rednecks around here make fun of my Good Beers in the same manner. On the surface they are saying that it's a gay beer but an accurate translation would be that they're saying you're pretentious about your beer

As a kid I remember the running joke in Colorado was calling it Rocky Mountain Piss water. As the brewery is downstream from a lot of good camping.

I almost got in a fight with someone in Kentucky when I drunkenly told him I had passed in hisbeer. .......He didn't get the joke

How interesting that one will defend a type of beer while putting down a type of dog in the same thread.

BTW: Beer people go get your own thread. Thanks.

No.. my dogs both snapped at each other over a piece of rawhide, and the pit caught the edge of the weim's gigantic 10" floppy ear. Barely broke skin but damaged a blood vessel. Then was licking him as soon as he saw he hurt him.

The dachshund grabbed onto my ear because I was rolling around on the ground and tried to rip it off. Think of a dog playing tug of war.

And once again there's a big difference between two dogs fighting each other and a dog biting a human. They are two separate issues.
