Piper or Pepper?

Piper most definitely. However, you can hear a lot of similarities between the two albums, because the bands were recording just down the hall from each other. Syd really idolized Lennon, who was a big inspiration behind the caucophony at the end of "Bike."

But Piper gets my vote any day.

I am the fan of Floyd, but, i must admit, that Pepper is way better

 

they are both very well done albumns (but sound quite differnt), but personally i am a very devoted pink floyd fan (own all cd's) and i never really got into the beatles so id say piper wins 100% in my book.

ok, why don't you just put them up straight after each other! first you go listening piper and than pepper and the next day you go listening pepper and straight after that piper and than return to this page and tell us what you think..... how about that :bigear:

 

Piper. Only Piper. Astronomy, Matilda, Lucifer, Flaming, Interstellar. Love the album. It has smth special... / A Day in the Life.

 

I find Sgt. Pepper to be more artistic and Piper to be more pop psych. That's why I like Pepper more more.

Pepper--the music is fun although Piper is great for "musical landscapes".

 

Though i still think pepper is good, i think it is overrated.

i've been tryin to get piper for like ever, but no one has it. although it is a tottally sick album, i'd have to say pepper is way better from what i've heard of piper. Within You Without You is way better than Apples and Oranges.

and Gilmour wasn't even on that album. He was the heart and soul of pink floyd after Syd left....bless em.

i donno bout you guys, but Pepper will always hold a place in my heart. But is nothing compared to Are You Experienced. thaty album rocked the world.

It's like misinx apples and oranges .. not really comparable, imo. both great albums though.
