Here's my feet in the sand at the lake last year.

I recently found a trail nearby my office that has a wonderfully delicious bark/dirt walking surface, and I've been enjoying weekly walks both in flip flops and barefoot (there are a couple of long sections of the trail that turn to sharp gravel, so I bring my sandals along for a little relief since I'm not a fan of sharp gravel). The combination of having flip flops on for part of the walk, as well as the quality of the bark/dirt itself makes for some interesting dirt accumulation. I nabbed some pics when I got back to the car, some from my digital cam, and a couple from my cell phone camera. I posted them to a new album, and figured I'd share them here in this thread as well.

 

nice.. mud on the bottom of feet always feels so nice.

 

Thanx for sharing Matthew. You have very attractive feet, even when being used appropriately for trodding in dirt.

 

Yeah, and this mud is always cool even when it's warm out because the trail goes through a pocket of natural northwest forest, so it's plenty shaded and gets a lot of runoff from the hills above, making little rivulets and mini waterfalls. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite spots to go barefoot!

Shale, LOL thanks - yes I know that I sometimes am not the "purest" barefooter in the forums since I typically prefer to wear my feet clean, but it's more because I don't care for "human" dirt that one finds in a large urban area like Seattle. But give me natural dirt anyday and I'm a happy camper. Oh and congrats to Boogabaah for inspiring so many posts - 100 pages!! :cheers2:

Matthew ...I am like you. Like to wear them clean ..and do barefooting in relatively clean surfaces ..and the "beach". Nice feet.

I see your foot is standing on Broad Leaf Plantain (plantago sp.) That is an import from Europe that now infests all of North America, just like the white footed ppl who brought it here.

The Native Americans called it "White Man's Foot" because it grew around the European settlements. Just a little foot lore of which you may not have been aware.

 

Speaking of tan feet, just noticed while sitting on the toilet this morning (Oh, is that too personal?) that my feet at this angle looked kinda nice. Well, just my biased opinion.





Well, about to take my bare feet to the nude beach for more tan.

But funny you mention the toilet.. I wasn on one today and the light was good, But my camera was full and I didnt have my coffee yet. Ill agree the angle is good for a pic though.. I just didnt capture one..

 

you wouldn't wanna see my feet..after having frostbite a few times during training exercises in the high sierras, they look a little rough.

 

How about these. Lesson for that day - if you don't want to walk on your broken foot, keep away from soft mud as crutches don't work too well in those conditions!

At 101 pages of posts, many of them discussing the attractiveness of feet, (especially Boogabaah's who started this thread) it's kinda late to run us off if we happen to appreciate certain aesthetics or the sensuality of feet.

I believe several of us have discussed this inclusiveness many pages back. No one then said anything about those of us who see beauty in feet or who enjoy getting intimate with feet to go elsewhere.
