But even without snow, it's still winter - now with nice stable winter weather... light frost at night and in the early morning, and around 5° C/40 F during the day...

That's the perfect weather (for me) to start barefooting (all weirdness aside - see my last journal entry about that one...)



The ground was still cold enough to set my toes aglow.

seems my feet get to a certain coldness and then i'm fine. i wish there had been more snow on the ground.
