Getting induced when I was already having natural contractions. I think a natural labor would have been bearable but when I was induced I dilated from 2 cm to 10 in a matter of 3 hours and in that time they also manually broke my water which felt exactly like the doctor was shoving a razor sharp, burning knife into my uterus. I had food poisoning the other night and had really bad stomach cramps that felt remarkably similar to labor, that was pretty painful When I was 16 I had alcohol poisoning and its all really murky in my memory but I do remember the pain as I vomited continuously right before I passed out.
I dropped a heavy boulder on my finger; it crushed the fingertip, shattered the bone, and uprooted the nail. My nerve endings in my finger tip have never worked the same. That hurt worse than penis surgery.
Intense worst was slamming my head against the concrete last year, and splitting orbital brow open...I still get headaches from that.... I was blinded at first, so it was most scariest, and I did see my mortality then, whereas I had never seen that before.....
I've felt physical pain at the hands of other people, surgery, illness, body modification, and accidents. But, there is no particular event that was the worst. Sure, it was painful and I prefer certain pain sensations over others, or better yet I prefer no pain. But, I don't know... worse pain... that's a good question. I guess I just don't want to remember, lol. That or I haven't experienced it yet.
I feel for you, Bro. My pain tolerance is pretty high but my motorcycle accident rang that bell for real. A little old lady blew a stop sign in 1981 and clobbered me with her Lincoln Continental. Snapped my left femur like a twig. I put a watermelon-sized dent in the roof of her car with my forehead and, if not for the grace of God and Bell Helmet Company, would have gone to the morgue instead of the ER. As it was, three weeks in the hospital, two major surguries, and six months learning to walk again without assistance. Yeah, my tooth abscesses have hurt like hell, but nothing compares to how that leg felt between when the shock started to abate and the Morphine went in. My left leg has been moderately fucked up ever since.
Ouch! I was much luckier with the bike wreck. Got hit from behind as I was making a left turn by some kid without a license or insurance, in a car he didn't own, and he was high and drunk. Took off my left rear turn signal at the frame, I got knocked off or jumped from the bike, flew to the right and was hit by a car that swerved onto the berm to miss the bike. Bounced off the hood and windshield and woke up in the weeds. So I was walking around in a daze and lost continuity a few times in the ambulance. But they sent me home with a badly bruised body. So I was really lucky, didn't hurt too bad till the next day. Just had to sleep on my back for a month or so.
