I have read the link before...

Have you read this http://www.kfc.com/about/pr/072104.htm focusing on KFC for the greater good of animal welfare is alright but they are dragging the company into the mud..for no other reason than their end game. If they say well done KFC for what they have been doing, that shows that they are not hounding KFC for purely the fact that they sell meat.

This letter is fair, but the images used and the protests outside KFC as a business i don't think are being fair..If protesters go out side KFC and say well done KFC for putting your suppliers under scrutiny , its a good thing you did their. I would say they are alright...but i don't think they will/would.

I can't speak for everyone, but I think few animal advocates (PETA-affliated or not) would consider a large, sunny pen torture. But I don't have to tell you that factory farms are not filled with large, sunny coops. The manner in which battery hens are kept (crammed five to a cage the size of a folded newspaper) is barbaric by just about anyone's standards. According to national polls, even a significant number of meat eaters disapprove of giving a chicken a shoe-box sized amount of room for its life. Some countries have even banned the battery cage system because of the cruelty.
Like I said before, PETA has both admirable qualities and considerable faults. But many people equate all general animal advocacy with PETA, with is very unfair.

No i realise the conditions chikens are in..i can't disagree their..I maybe harsh on PETA to be honest, I don't realy like the 'big' corperate advocacy groups .
