Cyclists on the dual carriageway when there is a perfectly good pavement. People spitting all the time. People listening to loud music through headphones while sitting next to me in the library at college. People dropping litter in the countryside. nothing really unusual there i reckon
Ooh, that's a good one. People dropping litter anywhere puts a frown on my face. The thing that gets me about it, usually after hearing the, "There were no bins around" defence...Is that whatever created the waste came from a pocket or a bag in a much larger form. Surely carrying the litter to a bin is no more awkward than carrying the item itself had been.
Cycling on the pavement is illegal... Which brings me to another pet hate, motorists who don't understand that cyclists have as much right to the road as them:tongue:
oh the litter thing gets on my nerves as well. i see that all the time around here. especially people driving down the street and they just chuck their empty mcdonalds bag out the window of their moving car. *grrrs* such people ought to be spanked or worse. hell, there have actually been times when we've done the drive thru thing at said evil clown eating establishment and will pull up in a parking space to eat and people next to us will just roll down their windows and chuck their rubbish out onto the parking lot when there is a perfectly fine bin sitting right in front of them!!!! i mean, is it THAT hard to get out of your car and walk less than 10 feet to use the bin? ... not sure if i'd class this as a 'hate' but it certainly is an annoyance ... why, oh why does the goverment natter on about recycling, yet everywhere on the street there are bins yet NO WHERE to put your recycling except at designated big areas in an occasional parking lot. this really annoys me. it also annoys me and is a 'hate' of mine that the council STILL hasn't given us more recycling sacks and i'm on my last one. yet again, if we dont' recycle they'll fine us. thing is i WANT to recycle but they have to give us the tools to do it. other pet hates... people who are just down right ugly and rude to their little kids. you see them all the time in the shops. those moms or dads that sit there and scream and shout at their 2 yr old kid will grab them really sharply by their tiny little arms/hand and drag them around while berating them verbally. and we wonder why there are so many chavs! i always want to go up and shout at and smack around the parents i see doing this. also, parents who use the "child leash". i can't stand that. is it your kid or is it your pet?
I dont let the spoon hit the side of the glass when I stir haha....some of my friends have a terrible habit of screaching their eating utensils on their plates or scraping their forks across their teeth.....i take their silverware and replace it with plastic forks and knives ahahahaha!!!
:agree: with everything you've said there phoenix (haha, I've always wanted to use the 'I agree' smile!) Except ... I haven't made my mind up on that one yet. I imagine that when I'm a father and walking around with my kid, a kid new to the walking thing, that I'd want to be able to pull him/her close at any second. It scares me now just thinking of a kid running into the road, or even falling down and banging their wee bones! The leashes could probably be a bit classier or discreet-er or something. But it don't sound like too awful an idea to me
Its dangerous! I understand that you have as much right to use the road as us. But 70 or 80 mph cars and 10 mph bikes dont mix. Heres another peev: Cyclists that think they are helping save the environment. Conveniently forgetting about the hundreds of cars and lorries that have to slow down, drop down a few gears then speed up again to pass them, producing loads more co2 than if they had just driven themselves. I say legalise cyling on the pavement  Or make cycle lanes everywhere.
Lol, I was in a shop recently and heard a young dad saying to his son if he wasnt quiet he was going to knock him out.
apparently one of today's papers has a picture of David Cameron cycling through a red light. Worse, it's a rear view and he's wearing Lycra shorts ...
I thought of more . . . English people writing like Americans People yawning near me!!!! Dunno why but it pisses me off
So yeah, motorists in general. Put someone behind the wheel of a car and they instantly become a selfish twat Been working traffic management at a couple of festivals this summer, people seem to think that once they're in their car they are all powerful and want everything exactly perfect just for them. What's that? I can't park in the emergency fire lane or go the wrong way round a one way system against a flow of pedestrians? Well fuck you buddeh!
i was TOTALLY against the child leash...until my little brother was born, when i was 15. i swear to god, i don't know how he made it through without it. just barely, that's for sure. now, sometimes, i wish i had one for my younger daughter. she's given me quite a few nasty moments.
are you writing like an american there? looks like it it me... what does that MEAN? i can't even decide if i should be offended or amused.
There's one thing that really gets on my tits...... People who use that stupid text message way of writing. example : GR82CU. BTW, B4 U R 2 busy, PM ME. CYA. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I really hate it and refuse to answer any message or e-mail that uses it. Peace, Aidan.
