The Mars Volta should go under the "people that made bad music that went on to make worse music" category.

I understand how Cedric Bixlers vocals can get irritating, but you're saying the Volta`1 are worse than At the Drive-In?

Wilco are one of those bands that have a lot of really mediocre songs, with 10 or so amazing songs with profound lyrics. All their better songs can be found without the cheesy overproduction on "Live in Chicago". Wilco's latest album was neither good or bad, just so so. At least they seem to have found some consistency. Yawn.

 

Deloused in the Crematorium is a good album. I liked them way beck when.

 

It's Comatorium, facey. Like, where you go when your suicidal girlfriend drives off a cliff with you strapped in the passenger seat.

 

Deloused was good. so was Francis. Dean and I have long discussions about how much we miss John Theodore.

 

I found francis a little boring. That was when I was turned off the mars volta. Then I started liking them again when I was trying to have sex with one of their fans. We never had sex even though she clearly wanted to because I only had a single bed. I just bought a queen bed.

 

We have a full and have fit 4 people in it for undisclosed reasons

They were awesome live. I went and saw them in Philly.. it was so good that I decided I needed to go up to NYC the next day for their show. I didn't have tickets either.. luckily, I found a black man selling some outside
