Paranormal Experiences

about the only paramormal thing that happened to me was when my wife and I were in the smokey mountains. i was on the bottom floor my wife was at the top of the stairs.As i was trying to go upstairs my wife and I saw a dark mass floating at the bottom of the stairs. I only saw it once more it never bothered any of us though

 

Well, here's an update on my situation...
The past few nights, my stepdad has been waking up in the middle of the night thinking someone was calling his name. Once he woke up with a start and thought my mom had woken him and that he had heard his name. She said "no, you must have been dreaming, go back to sleep" and he did.
The next night he shot out of bed and ran to the door, ripped it open and ran out into the hall asking who was there. He said he heard one of us from downstairs calling for him, saying: "Mark, help!" Mom was sleeping right next to him and I was sleeping like a log in my bed across the hall from them. I didn't hear a thing.
It didn't happen the next night, but I fell asleep with my TV on because I had a creepy feeling (understandably so). The next morning (yesterday), my mom woke up with five little bruises on the inside of her arm, as if five little fingers had clamped down on her and pinched her really hard. They were too small to be Mark's fingers, and when I put my fingers over them to see if they fit, they actually looked a little smaller than mine (and no one in the housed has smaller fingers than me). Weird shit. I have a pic of them. I'll post it soon, but I have a Philosophy class to get to right now.

the state that we live in has been around since 1630 or so. one night we were helping some freinds to move some stuff up into the attic,i put the 1st ,load up there,some more loads came and went until one of the girls screamed and left the house. After some talking between freinds my wife decides to go up there and take a look around,she saw something in there near the back of the attic. Ok by now we had the local tv and radio station to
come in and want to look around we said sure but I went and checked up there one last time. The spector as it turned out to be was a very old standing mirror that had been covered up with an old bed sheet. Turns out
that it had been there since before the civil war and when i knocked the sheet off of it it clearly showed a person in it now that the bedsheets had been removed! So much for our paranormal adventures he he

 

I have seen more than 1 show about WV. The latest one i saw was the GAC group taking on a closed sanitorium wow those poor people back then really had some challenges to go through!

 

if you really do want to go "ghost hunting" grab your digi and lets get going! but before you actually walk around cemteries at night,ask the preacher if you can do this? its no fun
running around at 2 or 3 am with some caretaker" on your ass,besides if you live in a small town you will be ostracized when people find out your the one that almost got shot after being round uncle ernies grave

 

I wanted to add that the Finger Lakes area is supposedly steeped in the paranormal/supernatural. Just listened to a podcast about it the other day..


Anyhow..my paranormal experience. This is something I do not really talk about much....
People already think I am crazy enough. Haha. I am not one of those people that paranormal things happen to all of the time. I have only had two things I consider "paranormal" happen to me. Since I was a young girl I have seen Midwayers..or "Shadow People." However, thats not what I wanna talk about here.

This happened on my 13th birthday. August 9th, 1997. All I wanted that year was a telescope, and a microscope. So, naturally, I got both. So, that night after it got dark I wanted to go test out my telescope. I lived on a dead end road and my mom would often let me stay out until 9 o'clock or so playing in the front yard and street. I got a little adventurous with the telescope and decided to walk up the street a ways to look up at the sky where there were less trees. So...I walked up to the end of the street and sat on this guardrail thingie that you see along curves....
I was just looking up in the sky, without the telescope, and I saw this thing up there. Looked like a ball...like a BB in the sky, but bigger. So I grabbed my telescope and zoooooomed in. And...thats what it looked like..a big ol BB in the sky, it had NO lights, but it had light emanating from it. It was not moving, no noise, nothing. I just stared at it for maybe 2 or so minutes and then it looked like it kinda..sucked itself up into the atmosphere. It didnt fly away or anything..just...blipped up into the atmosphere.

I was very frightened by that thing. I got a very malevolent feeling from it, I actually was so scared I dropped my telescope and ran home.

Strangely...when I was about 16 years old, a friend and I were talking on the internet. This friend lived in my state, but he lived on the other side of the state and we had never met. We just played online games together (like Ages of Empires). ANYHOW..one day we got to talked about UFOs and he said when he was about 15 (he was two years older than me) he saw something outside. He said he was sitting outside with his dad, during the summer of 1997 and he saw a "metallic ball" in the sky with no lights. He did say that this one was moving, but he also said it just "disappeared." He had no idea about me seeing anything during that same year.

So I told him my story...I guess we saw the same thing. Who knows? Weird anyway.

It has sparked a lifelong fascination/fear for me.

 

I don't know if it can be qualified as a paranormal experience,but here it goes. This has happened to me like 3 or 4 times.
I'm in bed, sleeping. Then suddently I wake up and when I open my eyes I see my roomate standing at the bottom of my bed. Then I blink, and he disappears. Sometimes it's different people, and they are at the door, looking at me, or something like that. It's so creepy. I've asked my roomate if he was awake, or if he had woke up in the middle of the night, he said no. It must be my imagination. Sometimes I even talk to the person I see, but he doesn't answer.
Has anyone seen something like this?

 

when my son was about 4 years old he would often run towards me saying that an old lady was staring at him. When asked where he would point it out but I won't see anything (we were inside the house) It happened several times. When I was reading a magazine, he suddenly pointed out to a picture in a magazine told me that it looks like the old lady whom he frequently sees. The lady in the picture was very very old and skinny, very long white hair. He does not see that old lady anymore he is 7 years old.

 

when i was about 10 years old i was sleeping, then i woke up at about 4 am and this bright, white light shined through my window, then went out. it was so weird... i cant even explain it.
