Am assuming you can set the trigger to a soft feel to a heavy feel no? heavy being more slow yet louder! and soft being faster.

 

Yes, you can make the trigger do whatever you want. Faggot bands like Despised Icon and those other core bands trigger the whole kit so it sounds like he's bashing the fuck out of the drums, but he's just tapping them... They even trigger their toms now which makes the whole kit sound like a computer.

The only thing I would ever trigger is the kicks.. Maybe the snare if you're going to be blasting %50 of the time. But still, if you can't do it on a %100 acoustic kit you shouldn't be allowed to use triggers. Because it does make doing 200BPM kicks a lot easier once you get the hang of it.
