Saw a mother and a young girl about 12 years old, the daughter was walking barefoot down a street carrying a pair of cloth slippers. She was doing a good pace until she reach a section of little stones in which she ended up putting back on her slippers. Probably one of the very few barefoot individuals I saw all summer.
one young woman pedaling in Pisa, the only one of a group of three cyclists being with no shoes in sight... just turquoise nail enamel :sunny: obviously tourists...
A couple others one was a friend and the other a shop worker sweeping up, granted she was working in a 'hippie' shop
During Metz/France latest "Nuit Blanche" (contemporary art performances at night in the city) seen a guy, mid twenties, no shoes in sight. It was cold, and I was shod. Which feels lame cause I rarely see other barefooters in my area.
Yesterday in a zoo I saw a black woman witha red skirt walking barefoot. She and her soles looked like she always goes around barefoot. A few weeks ago I saw a couple in their late twenties I guess, both barefoot.
I was just leaving Aldi with my son a couple weeks ago when it was pouring rain outside, and as I was walking out I saw a girl walking in barefoot, she was with a couple of other shod folks. I have talked with one of the employees about me going barefoot, barefoot running, etc. and she thought it was interesting. Doesn't seem to have any problems with it.
Aldi near me is a place where you find quite a few other barefoot customers when the sun comes out. Perhaps it's the relaxed attitude of their business.
My local Aldi is totally cool with me wandering around there. Actually, all my local supermarkets are fine, even (gasp) my Tesco mega-Extra-massive store or whatever it's called (it's big)
Wow you're lucky! The foot police are on me like a rash in any branch of Tesco down here (apart from the small Tesco metro shops). Asda and Sainsbury, who both used to be cool, now set the Gestapo on you too
Saw a family of three (mother, father and daughter) walking their dog downtown yesterday, all of them barefoot.
I was at a graduation party and was pleased how many of the guys that were there were barefoot. They came in flipflops but kicked them off as soon as they arrived and were just chilling in their bare feet. It was nice.
On my way home from work on Monday, as I drove through my neighborhood, I saw 3 young people (2 guys and 1 girl in their 20s) walking and they were all barefoot. There's a park nearby with a public swimming pool, so it looked like they came from there.
Drove past the local high school yesterday, and one of the student groups was doing a car wash. Must have been a couple of dozen students and a couple parents, all barefoot.
Driving up to the cottage in Northern Ontario, saw so many girls/women with barefeet on the dashboard that I lost count....maybe 45-50....in the drive-thru, on the highway...everywhere!!
