Osama Bin Laden Dead

Many people from the muslim world who supported Bin Laden's efforts have actually spoken out about how the supposed burial was against their Islamic traditions. They're pretty upset about it.

Goes to show how much you can trust the word of the US government.

 

Does anyone calling him a bastard, sack of shit, rot in hell, etc. have any actual proof that he murdered anyone?

Well we're holding an official party at ground zero tomorrow. Would appear some past presidents like Clinton and Bush don't wish to attend.

I am thinking not, since the FBI couldn't even tie him to 09/11 when they issued their most wanted poster in every post office in the nation.

What we seem to have proof of today is that an unarmed man was shot dead by US commandos in front of his wounded wife and children.

Does anyone else here at Hip Forums have a problem with Geronimo being used as the code name for this operation? It's kind of been shined on by the Main Stream Media now, but it's one of those really "hinky" details that continue to bother me. How can our first "black" president be so seemingly insensitive? Why not call bin Laden "Uncle Tom" how about Macolm or Martin?

 

I have many problems with this story but am hesitant to air them in your discussion as I'd likely veer it way off topic... I may journal my thoughts at some point.

 

Tomorrow's spectacle at "ground zero" will be a media circus. But I am sure in a way it will increase recruitment numbers. Which we'll need in our upcoming military interventions.

Last night on Piers Morgan two different men (one of whom works for Obama) gave two different accounts.

One said that Obama gave the order to kill, the Seals went there knowing they were to kill.

Another said that these are highly trained men who are able to quickly assess any situation and that they would not have fired if they did not perceive danger.

So, what's the real story then?

Yep. Last night on Piers Morgan they were really plugging the Navy Seals and discussing any recent changes in military recruitment numbers.

 

If Osama has just been killed by US forces, does this mean we get our rights back?

 

No. Everyone with an opinion who has spoken publicly about the event has been adamant that the war continues and that there are still big, bad boogie men out there, waiting in the shadows to move in on your airports and American families, waiting to lace your apple pie with dynamite and send undercover terrorists in to slowly take over the game of baseball by making it into the major leagues and infiltrating the New York Yankees.

 

So he was found in Pakistan, but we've been invading Afghanistan for 10 years? Losing countless lives of canadian soldiers following the US lead into the country. Wow someone really needs to work on they're intel, iraq and afghanistan look like the same thing.....

 

I guess the only difference is that we didn't follow them into Iraq....

 

There are a lot of people who are pretty upset about the burial "tradition" he accorded the 9/11 victims.

 

Why didn't the victims of 9/11 get theirs? (rhetorically asked)

Exactly my point! They would have gotten their trial and justice if Osama had been put on trial!

 

Some thoughts on the Bin Laden execution;

Nothing is to be gained by releasing any photos. People who believe Obama is dead don't need the photos (which fall woefully short of proof anyway) and the skeptics won't be convinced by photos which, after all, can be easily faked or altered. Why the hell did this administration even consider it, or put the possibility up for discussion?

I believe the compound (mansion?) will be razed shortly, and a mosque (shrine) built in its' place - probably within 5 years. You read it here first.

Thank you Mr President for pre-empting all that royal family crap. Too bad you didn't take the action a few days earlier.

 

They got their justice, partially maybe.

As a point of discussion, can you imagine all the innocents who would have been kidnapped and held for O'bama's ransom had he been captured instead?
