Hahaha, that's another reason I don't drink beer. That and I hate the fat that comes with it.

I took two 10/325 percs this morning plus 5 of valium, and I have 2 percs and one valium left. I'm hoping I can find a store that sells kratom before tomorrow; the wd shouldn't be too bad because I've been pretty chill with the opiate intake, but if I can't find the kratom I'm gonna stock up on the shopping list stuff in the first post. I HATE WD. HATE it, I tell you! I doubt my SO will take me to the ER again, he's starting to get a little suspicious - he's a drug and alcohol counselor (can you even imagine) so...

All I have to say about this is, if you even suspect you might run out of your DOC, get yourself an ounce of Bali powder from Kratom King. It tastes fully like ass, but it works like a charm to keep the nasties at bay, and it's only $14 including shipping. Just allow 3-4 days for delivery unless you want to pay for overnight. It's good to plan ahead.

The "leg thing" is the worst part of WD's for me. I have been brought to my knees crying because of this...

How is that possible, wtf is right!

I'm really glad that I'm not sick right now; I've been without any opiates for a week. I really hope my orthopedist listens to me tomorrow.

You got anything you can take for it? Is it just the aching or is it that horrible fucking "I have to move my legs right NOW" thing?

Try taking some anti-inflammatories and a muscle relaxer if you have any.

Been doing dope for years and the best non-opiate way of dealing with W/D's I have seen is what they gave us in county jail. Catapres and Kolonopin(sp?). Mainly the catapres, its a blood pressure mediceine and when you are w/d ing, thats whats wrong with you for the most part, your blood pressure is out of whack cuz you are used to being on the opiates that change your blood pressure. This is for real dopers, people that are dependent on it, not recreational users who use it once a week, you dont get W/d's.

As someone mentioned, if you wanna quit dont do methadone, the W/d's from methadone are most likely gonna be worse than your current opiate of choice. You do not want to be in a methadone clinic and get cut off for some reason, you think OC or Heroin w/d's are bad? Haha, just wait until you get shut off the methadone. If you are in a methadone clinic just dont do nothing to get yourself cut off, they will ween you off of it. Had a friend get thrown out the clinic for selling xanax to other clinic members and boy was he in bad shape.

A new one is suboxone and thats what my friend I mentioned above is now on, 8mg pill, that you take sublingually(under the tongue). Its the new rage around where I live for beating opiates but its also an opiate(bupe). Ive never personally had a suboxone though so cant really comment on it, my friend seems to be doing pretty good on them.

But if you really wanna get away from opiates and stop completely I recommend the catapres and man the fuck up and deal with it, taking another opiate to get off opiates has always seemed downright retarded to me. Benzos help, diarrhea medicine like Immodium and Pepto wont hurt either but if you can, definitely ask your doc for clonidine(the active ingredient in catapres I believe). If you ever go to jail, thats what you'll get and probably kolonopin because jail usually wont give xanax or valium to inmates. Cannabis is a big help too. After 3-5 days the worst is over but I have had mild physical w/d's for up to a month.

Anyway I figured Id post that up, maybe it will help someone who is looking to actually quit, Immodium will help but its not gonna be much help to a real doper, someone whose been shooting H, doing fent, taking 400mg of OC a day, etc. for 10 years will laugh at you if they were told to go get some Immodium, haha. You will need a blood pressure med like catapres at the very least and most will turn to methadone or suboxone. I dont know anyone though that has turned to methadone and actually quit though, you're just swapping one addiction for another. Suboxone is new so Im not sure and have no experience with it.

Im not trying to preach or anything, because Im getting high as we speak, haha. Just trying to help anyone out there who really is looking to quit and is a heavy user. Ive gone through it a few times, usually not at my choice like going to jail.

immodium is almost the same thing as demerol
it just doesn't pass through the blood brain barrier fast enough so all you get is the opiate like constipation

Which you must admit is better than the withdrawal-like explosive shits. I found that Imodium in high enough doses actually alleviated a lot of my WD symtpoms, not just the stomach issues. I'd rather be constipated than feel like shit (you should excuse my imagery).
