How can anyone not like the doors? i mean really... come on...:bigear:

I hear the Riders on the Storm are coming my way again, i really wanted to see them last may i think, when they were also here, but to my regret i didn't get around to see them. but I heard the bootleg tho, loved it, so i'm going this time for sure.

Yeah, I saw them as Doors of the 21st century at Bospop a few years ago. I think I'll go pay the Riders thursday a visit as well.

well they put on one hell of a show in thier time, but you know who deservs a hell of a lot more credit then i ever hear mentioned is their organist. i don't know what his name was, but without his licks they would have been crap. if anyone knows what his name was, i'd like to hear it. i think that guy, or gal, whoever it was, deserves just a whole bunch of credit. who ever it was, THEY were more the heart and soul of the doors, then even morrison's vocals.

(odd 'coincidence' i just listened to rick o shay do a whole couple of hour special on the doors from butterfly scream to the end, just now ending even as i type this!)

are those the only doors songs you know? Because they are ironically 3 of The Doors best known songs. Even people who aren't fans know those three songs.

i like the doors but in defense of that those three songs were good, which is the problem with extra good songs they're so good everyone likes them, it's overplayed, then it just gets annoying.

 

THE DOORS ARE AWESOME. I love the doors, it's just that... jim morrison isn't the Doors...it's just a member of the band...He had a great voice, that's really true...he was good lookin, that's true as well...The Doors wouldn't have been the same without Ray's keyboard, Robby's guitar n' John's drums.
The Doors ain't just Jim.
I'm obsessed with "My wild love"...I think i have listened to this song like 100 times this week...It's just..brilliant....All the songs are awesome actually.

 

I'm more of a Doors fan than just a Jim fan.
