I do that too. Save all the change in a big jar then you don't have to bother with carrying it around.

will probably just roll it myself though...lots of $2 and $1 coins this year and im not 100% trusting that machine

 

I rolled my own and went to the food store to pay for my food with it. (Roll of quarters and one of dimes $15.)
Cashier calls over manager says "do we take rolled coins"
Manager says "let me see, (picks up rolls hands them back to cashier) yeah he looks honest".
I said "uh huh"
Manager says "some guy came in and the roll was obviously missing at least $4."
I said that isn't worth the embarrassment if you counted out the money.
She said yeah you would think people would be more like that.

i think mine sticks them in a bag with the deposit slip and they get checked later ....if too much or too little it gets adjusted

 

Yup to avoid that...the next time I did my coins I figured I would stop by the bank. Its on the way to the store and if I use a self check out isle. I won't have to stick in 80 quarters. Woman gave me $20 while the rolls were still in her hand. I walked out wondering if she could tell or if I was a quarter short would she run out and stop me.

 

When my kids were teenagers, hubby and I gave each of them a big jar of change.

We counted it out to make sure they each got the same amount but we didn't get it exchanged for them. We made them do that part themselves.

I think each jar had something like $110 in it.

We all got a big kick out of it.

First propane tank just ran out.
Lasted longer than I expected considering I had it on medium for most of the time.

 

how long do you get per tank?.. Do you run them full time?..

id like to know what kind of heater he uses

anyone using propane here indoors uses an actual furnace or fireplace with chimney ....i cant imagine anyone using portable tanks with those ...

i ended up with $200 in $2 coins...$75 in $1 coins...and 6 rolls of quarters....didnt get to the dimes and nickles yet

only 1 penny in the whole jar....no one uses pennies anymore
