I liked the maple. A friend of mine likes regular crown and hated the maple one.

 

I will drink spiced rum....I stay away from the fad flavors....

just inhaled a veal on a bun from the Italian bakery around the cornr from my daughters house....she lives on the cusp of upper little Italy...the new mob money lol......also half a dozen amaretto cookies

 

years ago, I used to keep a little bottle of crown for when I needed some "sippin' whiskey".

I've never heard of maple crown...I bet I'd like it. Like you, I highly doubt I would like vanilla crown.

So is this available like once a year thing maybe? I've never heard of it; but, then I'm not much of a liquor shopper. I know what I want when I go in there and don't look around.

I wonder if I were to go up to my local store if they would have it.

the vanilla is new. Or at least it is around here. I see the maple whenever I go to the store...not often but it is there every time I do go. I think the same will happen with the vanilla if it isn't discontinued.

Yup. Whenever one brand comes out with something new they all come out with a version.

 

That alone tells me that whenever a perishables company brings out something new, you should buy shares from the competitors to that company too and then you'd make money?? I never understood how shares work or what shares are. I tell y'all one thing. unless you're really close to me or a guest in my house, I don't do shares. I grew up fending all for myself with those three sisters, lol and if I'm putting money into something that's somehow getting shared... lol.

but more seriously, i really don't know what shares are.

My immediate assumption is that it is like umm, buying foreign money when it is bad and waiting for their money to get really good again in the economy, then you cash it all back in for a profit.

I rarely drink brown liquor (unless its tequila and I'm having a SPECIAL night lol)...but every rare now and then I have a desire for some Crown.

I never mix it...but just sip it...sometimes put it "on the rocks" but after a little of that, I don't worry about the "rocks".

Maple Crown Royal...I believe I'm going to get a little bottle of that.

The man at the liquor store will probably faint. lol

 

A friend of mine only mixes dark spirits with clear drinks. And only mixes clear spirits with dark soda.

I never paid any attention to the colors of my drinks.

 

I wasn't impressed with the tour either. The rooms were all roped off, you could only peek in. If you were allowed to walk in and examine the furnishings or look out the windows it would have been far more interesting. A place like that begs to be explored, not just glimpsed. I agree it would be nice for a wedding though.

Reminds me of the old spy house. The building has been there for about 350 years and they never renovated it or anything. It was all the original furniture and hardware type items. Pretty much like going through a time capsule. Only problem was they roped off all rooms.
I was there a year or 2 ago and the county took over the building and turned it into a fucking County office building. They gutted all the rooms....we couldn't touch shit in there...if the shit was so valuable/fragile that we couldn't even be in the room then why can the county come in and fuck it all up.

Well usually it's not some random kid...usually it's my son, my grandson, my nephew, the pitcher on my baseball team that I coach, the alter boy, or a baby goat.
