LOL mac, both my gf and her sister do that .... sisterinlaw she know when that fireplace is going to kick on too.. I suppose she can hear the hiss in the other room. .she will plop in front warm her ass, sit on the carpet put her legs up on the wall. my gf does it, but shes more the backs her ass into it. once shes like feel how hot my ass is after sitting there. Ill back my ass into it for as much as i can take lol when im cold, Im loving the fireplaces. I just put one these in my other dinning room.. so makes much difference in the house. I would often avoid that room because it was so chilly .. now i can chill in it..

My loving mother is putting together a family reunion that is years overdue and my one dickhead uncle is being a dickhead on facebook for no reason. I dont have facebook so i just got on my mom's, made clear it was me, and elegantly terse put him in his place

 

it always happens because yo vant please everyone....my sister finally just made a date and said who shows up is welcome and whoever cant make it be sure to come visit when you can

My day started around 6 AM with my daughter yelling DAD!!!! THERE'S NO HOT WATER!!!! and thus began my adventure of fixing my water heater today.
So I check and sure enough the pilot isn't working, so I try lighting in vain. it has a piezo switch that you have to mindlessly push like a lunatic on crack until a little light starts flashing...no luck.
after troubleshooting it either the thermocouple or the safety FlashLock feature has tripped. If that's the case I'm fucked. so I go online to find the part # and manual. So while I'm thinking. thermocouple, no problem, take out the old, put in the new, 5 minutes tops.
BUT NOOOOOOOO! this damn thing has a "thermopile" and you have to take the whole damn burner unit out to change it.
UGGHHH!
Then I find out that nobody has the damn thing!!!!! or they want $80+ for it!

I manage to find one at Ace hardware that looks the same but the connectors are different.
So I rolled the dice and spliced the old connectors on to the new thermopile and put the mess back together.
We now have hot water again...yah!

whether or not that part is correct I'll only know if the pilot goes out and it still pumps out gas and the house explodes.


so much for a relaxing day off........

 

need to switch out the electric water with a gas one here...the line is all set up for it already just waiting for a good deal or for the electric one to konk out...whichever comes first

 

My father's side family reunion I missed the 2 they had for whatever reasons at the time.

My mom's side...I see them all the time. In fact they all show up for Christmas every year if I don't see them before that during the year

 

my hot water tank is down an element so no back to back showers at my house...1 per morning.....my landlord recently did me a favor so i'm waiting to tell him he needs some work done or a new tank

 

this "live pd" show kind of sucks



sold 8 tires today...and still too cheap to buy some for my car (odd size)...

to be fair though i sell tires way lower than i can ever buy them for

i put some the general tsos on the grill to heat it back up;.. wow that was fucking good.. most the time the chicken is kinda small chunks .. this places mkaes them with big chunks and small chunks of chicken. but the msg got me little amped funny feeling but it was still good.

tho you have it running and I cant read into how. thats possible..
might cost you more over time with a unit that is not efficient, than it will getting new one..

I have 2 water heaters one upstairs that I use and one downstairs that is not hooked up to anything.
I wonder how much it would cost to bring the one downstairs up if the one I'm using broke.
I know that hooking up pipes to the downstairs one would cost thousands because there is no way to get to those pipes without tearing up the floors.
