I haven't seen that in a long time. Or any of the other English black humor movies like it for a long time either. Like Snatch.

I never been to England yet but I've heard that's how some of them really talk, like gypsies etc.

One of our friends new partner wants to take us to England for a holiday. She's English and been getting to know us a little more and she started to talk to me about whether I had an interest in England or not. I told her that I wouldn't particularly like the London city or the cities because I don't like cities, I'd be more interested in the old castles, forts and cathedrals or the places where the Vikings landed etc. historical holidays are what I base all my traveling around. I don't want to see the new world. I live in the new world. My customs and traditions are very old, I like the old world.

I'd definitely go to Stonehenge but I saw a photo the other day and you have to stand a long way away from them. Really disappointing to see that photo. I thought at least I'd be able to touch them with my hand or at least one rock. I wanted to place my hand on it and extract the powers within... has always been a very vigorous image and dream for me to do much like the Limestones at Das Externsteine where I can harness energy from them.

It funny, sounds silly "drawing energy" but have you ever felt a big stone under different climate conditions? To me they are very different. When the Externsteine heats up in summer sun, it's a totally different feeling and vibe than it is in winter.

Anyway the trip sounds okay because she will be the guide.

Not sure if and when but it sounded like it was couple years in the future. They're going to Vietnam early next year. Now he's a war buff and likes Vietnam, but I don't think you'd ever see me there.

I think he's big enough to buy his own flannels.
We never really gave presents out much during these holidays it was all about the food during the week. That was the gift. Knowledge, how to cook, how to prepare it, what our traditions are. I'm really the only sister who learned to cook properly though and I'm proud of my cooking skills. Not professional or anything but I can cook mostly anything I want and need to.

I think my generation lose a bit of that kind of culture, like.. family recipes and secret recipes etc. it's a bit sad. Like, people my age don't even cook anymore either. =\

 

Our family picked up a couple old recipes but my sisters have created a few new ones of their own that are pretty good.

 

I think I posted about how I went tackle shopping few weeks back and then i find this in the laundry.

I've seen this movie at least 3 or 4 times, still have no clue about most of the dialogue.
