With 4 golden retrievers in the house, there is hair everyday everywhere. Sometimes on my food. I just pick off with fingers *shoulder shrug * go back to eating.

 

Before we said goodbye we went shops and he is such a different dog when he goes through emotions and I mean he looks different.

He has a different look when playing and then while stressed. When Laura went into shops I kept in the truck and he did not like that she was away. Everything about him changed. His face was much darker, his body leaner and when a man followed her in, well he wanted no part of it. So he is very loyal to us you would not want to get between us and him. He might have only playful bones with other dogs, but with people, oh no doubts if they touched us, he'd be savage. Lol.

 

I know what you mean.
Buddy is very expressive and I can always tell his emotions.
When I have to go to work he sulks and won't even look at me when I'm going.

as far being loyal, I pity the fool who would try to touch my wife or girls with him around. Whenever someone comes to the door, he pushes his way in between them and the door, if I answer the door, he sits just behind me waiting to see what I do.

 

Oh yeah. He ignores us too when he knows we are leaving lol but lately he has been getting a treat when we leave so he is conditioned to it and very unhappy if he doesn't get it too. But he puts on this look and we just melt and have to get the pigs ear for him. Then he doesn't even care if we are going. He's got his treat.

 

i'm facebook friends with manservant so we chat from time to time. seems to be doing alright, making lots of art and hanging out with rats.

 

my mom has one but they are often full where she lives too.

 

we got a dog that has hair instead of fur because neither of us wanted to deal with the fur. it means that we have to groom him every couple of months, but it is worth it to me.

also, picking up poop isn't a big deal to me. especially now that i have a kid, haha.

 

family reunion days really really suck after you realize that both your parents are the oldest ones there because all the older ones already died

my parents are both first borns of their bunches

 

And then your parents are gone and you are the oldest generation.

 

yeah but im one of the youngest cousins in my generation so if things go right i have a lot of funerals to get to before my own

 

I hate the idea of picking up dog poop on a regular basis. Or having dog poop in the yard all the time.
That's why im glad i can walk him in the pastures and not through some neighbourhood where you have to clean up after him every time he shits!
When he shits on the property (does happen sometimes of course) he automatically does so in the bushes *proud*
And never on the lawn or concrete :cheers2:

 

Since its Friday I'm supposed to go to the grocery store today, but I'm going to act like I've forgotten. Apparently The Mother has forgotten, or she would have had her list made up and worrying me to death "so WHEN are you going???? WHEN!?" 5 minutes would pass "So ARE YOU GOING TODAY?!!!!" <---------------- That is how it is when I'm not even late going. lol

I'll either go tonight (but I doubt that) or tomorrow. I'm 90% certain it'll be tomorrow.

One reason I haven't gone is I can't find Gimli-Benny so I'm going outside every hour (at least, or more often) and whistling and calling him...walking around, etc. It just worries me to death when I can't find one of my regulars.
