a buddy of mine was over tonight with his new puppy...a nice little red labrador retriever

nice to have around but it brings back the memories of dog shit in the yard and dog hair all over the house....2 things i dont like

Get one that doesn't shed.

My next door neighbors have a standard size poodle like this. I guess he's 4-6 months old. I want one just like him.

 

another buddy has some kind poodle mix dog that is awesome


but again..the poop is a problem

If you keep your eyes on a shelter's dogs, you will see in just a few months almost every type of dog there is come through...it is unreal.

I've seen more than one beautiful golden labradoodle advertised at one of the shelters in upstate SC.

But mostly, I needed to come and report I'm sad about that cat I don't care anything about, Lassie - or Cally.

She didn't come in tonight before I shut it all down...and I"m just here before I get in the bed - and I KNEW

I have a dust pan on a handle and a little kids hard rake.

I walk around and scoop up the dog poop.

 

I've got four kittens he can have in few weeks....

the issue of dog poop and shedding is far outweighed by the benefits...

I agree.

 

i have a weak gag reflex and a yard full of stuff that is dangerous for animals

i also like sandals

so it just wont work out unless i find some kind of other arrangement like an apartment with no yard..and an income source that doesnt require storing so much stuff....so i can walk the dog and let it poop in the neighboring yards like my gracious subdivision people around the corner do to me

 

I go everywhere in my life now with strands of dog hair on my clothes. I notice them on pool felt, pants and shirts.. anything.

Sometimes at work I will sit and do my things behind computer and i will feel homesick then I look my pants and always Atreyú hair is there. I pick it off and smile. He's with me at that moment.
