The sad truth of the matter is that ALL of the media are putting their spin on the news, so NO ONE is going to be able to post a link to any UNBAISED stories. And since when are we not allowed to use citations from folks we don't necessarily agree with 100% of the time? i try to read both sides of the story, make up my mind, and i'll go with the articles that address the point i'm trying to make. Something rather surprising to me is that y'all don't know a trap when you see it... If Obama WAS going to "Change" up everything, wouldn't it stand to reason that the powers that be would want him discreditted and thought badly of? i mean, if he changes things, they're going to be out in the cold, eh? To me, the FIRST red flag was the media's adulation of this joker. Since i don't believe that the media has my best interests at heart, i tend to view their "facts" with a jaundiced eye. Do you honestly believe that MSM is truly there to give you all of the facts? Or have you recognized that MSM is just a way of herding up public opinion into whatever corral the elites want? And if they are doing ^ THAT ^, don't you think it might be a wise idea to WARILY circle the corral a couple of times to see what it's attached to? idk, whenever someone is trying to push me too hard into something, that's when i start to get suspicious...
There are objective facts in the world, actually. You are "allowed" to use whatever you want. But if a claim is highly suspect and the only source for it is some crackpot website that is full of complete lunacy, then don't expect people to be convinced just cuz its on teh interweb. Also, I really wish people could tell the difference between editorial and reporting. That depends if you believe the "powers that be" are some homogenous never changing elite that agrees on everthing and cooperates in perfect harmony. If you believe that then I can't help you. That's what the Republicans want you to think. The liberal elite media hates you and loves Obama, so don't vote for him. Seemed like a good strategy but it didn't work. You talk about the MSM like it were some monolith. Mostly I think you are talking about television. Do I trust MSM to give me all the facts? Well I'm not sitting there waiting for the facts to be given to me. I go out and seek them. I get my information from wherever I want. Anybody can do the same. And don't even talk to me about "the elites", that's just silly. This is cartoon imagery. The world isn't that simple. Fine be suspicious. But what I really think you mean is that you are highly suspicious about things you don't want to believe anyway.
