old skool nick shows

When I was a kid, I was so freaked out by the AYAOTD with that scarecrow. I just could not watch that episode. But, I always liked the ones with Sardoe (accent on the "doe") and the ones with that fat, weird, bearded Docter guy.

 

it was all about punky brewster when i was growing up! she kicked ass, i used to try to dress like her haha.

 

I grew up on these kinds of shows. Clarissa Exlains it all, Pete and Pete, and the show on a dude ranch. For a few years, when I was younger, I only watched Nick and Nick at night

 

Ah, I loved those old Nick shows! Some of my favorites include:

Legends of the Hidden Temple
The whole SNICK thing

Eureeka's Castle

So many more, I just can't think of them!

Double Dare, I use to love that show, i remember when they had the home game

omg.. there were so many freakin shows! there was this one.. i think it was either on Nick, or PBS.. on of those kid stations. it was a guy, and he like went hiking.. and would tell stories.. or play an instrument or something.. what was the name of that show??????????
Melody from Hey Dude is Ben Stillers wife I think. She was Marsha in the Brady Bunch Movie.

 

I know this wasn't on Nick, but I have to mention the puppet version of "Fraggle Rock", it was my all time favorite show as a kid. It used to come on at 6am on HBO, my dad would tape it for me to watch later on in the day. I've got something like 6 or so VHS tapes full of Fraggle Rock shows. I'm gonna have to watch some of those soon!

 

omg I miss all the old Nick shows!! Does anyone remember Video Game Arcade? Ah those shows were great. Salute Your Shorts, Are You Afraid of the Dark?, Guts, Hey Dude, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Clarissa Explains it all...*sigh* Good memories...

I watched Fifteen, too. God, that must have been 12-15 years ago! My dad didn't want my watching it because I wasn't 15 yet....lol...it had mature themes! I must have been like 12 or 13.

look at the show compared to shows now, alot has changed..lol..

 

I can't wait to see "Are you afraid of the Dark?" when I'm totally stoned! It'll be all spooky while I'm screaming my ass off.

OMG Guts was the shizzle

so was legends of the hidden temple just because the teams were like the blue barracudas
red parrots (or something?)
and the host was this giant stone talking tiki named "olmec"

Eureeka's castle was almost an obsession with me
