HF can still continue to be that. It could in principle also accommodate people who don't want to see kink threads, or any particular type of thread.

Even if you're philosophically opposed to the idea of a site partition, it's a practical issue. Maybe there are other things that could be done to boost site traffic, but a partition/ customizable active threads is worth considering, imho.
