   Not to mention, a private shipper like FedEx wouldn't really have an interest in intercepting drugs like the gov't would.

   Actually, you can't really get in trouble for mailing drugs unless they catch you before it's actually shipped. Once postage has been paid to the time it's on your doorstep it's considered government property.
