[footnote: the goblin is not always popular, in fact, sometimes he is so unpopular that one can't enough of him]

"...hi, I am now talking in first person..." said the goblin, adding "...it's just that my fingers are writing this down, which makes it "written in first person", then I put that, which I have written of what I have said, in inverted commas together with narration, which turns it into third person here, simply, most conversations one reads in books are actually in first person, it's just the narration which makes it look otherwise...", the bistro at this point was noisy as the womenfolk shouted across the tables reminiscent of primates calling across some canopy, drama with a capital D, gossip at its purest, not that the goblin understood Portuguese, just he went "..."lights, camera and..., gossip"..." with some dismisscent matching hand sign knowing that they wouldn't actually notice him at all

repost form elsewhere, just explaining something

the goblin never did his own posts for others, saying "...besides, one can't really compare people's posts anyway since they are all based on tastes, so, good or bad, one thing is true I feel, simply if one is really honest in one's posting, then like minded people will approach, whereas if one is just creating posts to up one's post count, or tagging threads for the sake of the forum, or posting back out of some obligation to do so here, then people won't be able to see "who you are from what you post", so, if being selfish is being honest, then it's best to be selfish now, and thus have people see one by it...", simply the goblin never posted on any thread that didn't move him to do so, so yes, it wasn't for other here, nor for the forum then, nor even for this thread's sake, no, it was merely to get the post right to himself that he wrote at all, since he alone had to live with what he had written

Dejavu liked the goblin, so he thought it meet to mention that it might be unwise to ask that his posts be deleted if unsuitable. Dejavu liked this goblin precisely for his unsuitability, and suspected others did too, no matter how much they longed to behold him in the first person, or even as a person, to seek and see the source of this persona that celebrates the good health of selfishness. Storch had not been kidding it appeared, still it seemed so strange that he was a shill for an anti-shill movement on a month-long mission to do what was likely far too politic for Dejavu to comprehend in the apolitical compass of his humanity. Really he was just sorry that friends could leave so easily. Thankfully the thought of their coming in next to no time left him anything but sorry. A compromising character was Dejavu. He wanted the goblin, and storch too, to know he was a true friend, so he said something to the effect of saying what sounded like and was in fact the following: "Yes, we have been here always, even in coming to know it, and no matter what comes before us the like-minded shall always gravitate, and better, dance to our music, so let's go on always to write for those who think differently, since we're them, and will never be otherwise." He left it at that for the moment, dwelling now in no small way upon the relative weight of knowledge, and in doing, recalled to himself the great strength of humanity to forget...

("...if I look at the number of posts that I still have to edit I'll be here for some years yet..." replied the goblin, adding "...and yet, the person behind the goblin just posts till his last, that's all I suppose though it would be nice to have what I wrote edited into something more me to myself, where it would be nice too to think that I became an influence to others...")

    repost from elsewhere

the goblin didn't really mind anything in anyone else, only that he himself was growing more distant in his dealings with other people in dailylife, where somehow too a growing desire for invisibility seemed to come with his ageing then, since he feared that if he was actually noticed at all, it would simply be for his faults then, just that that face in the crowd seemed so much comfortable then than under a spotlight for the wrong reasons now

repost from elsewhere, a women's interests last post thread, yes the mummies again

and then goblin had come across this wonderful book called"japanese housewife in 24hours" with delightful examples and phrases that he felt he could share here, "...right this is perfect for them darling your bath is ready, oh yes and hubby may I fetch your slippers, yes, gosh, amazing, I have just got tell the mummies then..." exclaimed the goblin somehow knowing just how much they would really appreciate this sort of thing

thedope was inclined to offer an umbrella of reassurance amidst a cascade of sentimental drama about impermanence. My friend Storch is as he ever was his presence being invited inside myself as we sincerely share our most intimate spaces, thedope said. No acknowledged relationship ever ends but our relationships may wax and wane in relative conscious importance. My friend Dejavu is concerned however lightly by the ease of Storch's departure and I wonder why Dejavu would wish Storch a difficult journey. thedope recalled something he had said to Dejavu, "if you cling it escapes you".

Some believe that we are wholly body and being consigned to body, can be sent away no matter how dear one may be to us. There is no body between us if we share our thoughts and we can count on those we are attracted to, provided we see by the light, to be of firm and right mind. Our relationships are never outside of ourselves. Minds join, bodies touch the outside only. thedope had many friends who had died or gone to some distant place but has not lost a one, finding them there truly intact within himself.

Dejavu declined thedopes undue umbrella, adopting the dramatis personae of a devil. "Yes" he intoned, with mephistophelian mock-menace, "Some of us do believe we are wholly body, though not before knowing so. Belief in this matter, being of no consequence, follows naturally." He smiled on one side of his mouth, showing a few teeth. "The very same who know" he went on, "know no consignment, no confinement to the body, rather its freedom, that it is the spirit unbound." Of course he knew these words to have no meaning for the earnest christian soul he addressed them to, but where would his divine malice reside if they did? thedope, whilst finding that minds join, was not fortunate enough to hear the rejoinder that bodies do too. "As above so below, and around about too" poked Dejavu, running rings about the luckless dope with no mean speed, in effect, that of next to no time, making allowances for all who should choose to make their own. "You see" he continued, "or perhaps you don't, that I wish everyone well on their respective journeys. The ease of travel is not something I would take into consideration even if I could." Dejavu felt especially wicked now, but nevertheless decided to end his aside with a direct hit, for this was an aside, there was no doubt about that. "Transcendence is for the birds" he aired flightily, his palms upturned to the heavens, "Who may nest in my branches as they please, the wings of this, my stage of life. But should they get that tingling for what I can only assume they take to be a transmigration, and would seek something of a farewell, then they can find me in my feet, for I am true to the earth!" Dejavu then danced off, or walked away with the funk, you decide, to return another day.

Indeed bodies do join, with the dirt.

vibrations reach on up to become light and then through gamma out of sight

Dejavu the supraman would say as above so below but mean not above at all in no wise comprehending that above and below were a matter of relative orientation.
thedope rejoining was after all as versed as the next in unsuitability, suitably so.
So much so that he would lapse into sarcasm as Dejavu's glinting toothy grin had inspired him. It so pleased thedope that he helped Dejavu hack out that bitter phlegm that he only barely keeps under wraps.
Transcendence is for the birds and there should never be a reason for a man to want to fly. As a matter of fact birds amount to no more than random shit missiles on an other wise cloudless day.

Sooner than I thought! thought Dejavu, no sooner than he had, returning the same day to turn out a little bit more, laughing that it might again be found bitter. Was he remiss in this? Let those of a feather decide together! he chirped. May they all come before the beak of their seat in their various refrains from judgement! Soaring now, he saw thedope far below him, insisting that bodies not join save as dust to dust, insisting himself to be Dejavus equal, indeed everybodys, and Dejavu wondered if he didn't feel a slight pang of sympathy for the mans stab at him, as though he might not know up from down just because they were relative! He banked and came through this cloud, racing now, for he was in a mind, his very own, to divebomb the clod, to descend for conversations sake, to share one might say. At the last moment though he pulled up, and roared instead, showing all his teeth this time, and then ascended out of sight.

thedope likes to use colorful languages and bitter is the taste of preservative although the cling peach is vacuum packed.
Dejavu would imagine himself sososoaring having been for some while an avowed dicplodicus. Pedestrian is mans ingenuity in the mornings light.

repost from elsewhere, a british "last post" thread

    "youzabe'speaking'westcountrydialectyoube", explained to normal people

"...I am sure that there are times when you have wanted to get in touch with you roots then..." said the goblin understanding that people of the new world had advanced the verb "to be" to its present day form, whereas those in the westcountry of england(devon for example) have probably retained their means of communication right back from those grunts and groans they had used in the stone age, thus to speak westcountry dialect properly one has to first focus on a primitive caveman and from there make a ranged backthroat sound followed by some simplified verb tenses, being, for creatures, "Izaba", "youzabe", "heszabe", "wezabe", and for objects "herezabe" and "therezabe", and finally where in any doubt "theyzabe", now for negatives the very flexible "ainnabe" together with the pronoun is simply used for everything...", the goblin paused for the next bit, knowing that he still had to explain how westcountryman had first mastered the verb, saying "...here again, all verbs are simply their gerund from, that is "to be" verb tenses followed by the continuous such as "going", "thinking", "spamming", etc. making it "izabegoing" or negatvie "I ainabegoing", lastly vagueness in westcountry dialect is expressed by the word "like", for example "izabe'smokingmagicmushrooms'like" and "youszabe'trollingthread'like", whereas absolute certainty is expressed by repeating the "to be" verb tense "izabe'smokingmagicmushrooms'Ibe" and "youszabe'trollingthread'yoube"...", and with that the goblin somehow felt that if some raging storm happened to ground one's airplane upon some rain swept island across from the civilized continent here, well the known world per say, the reader would now stand a better chance of survival since, he or she, could actually converse with the natives, just as long as they didn't either drink their coffee or eat their food that is

repost from elsewhere, wow how time have changed

the goblin landed, thanked the bots again for their unflattering comments, saying "...ah but isn't the truth more that what you actually want is exactly that which you are saying you don't want here, or why else would you all be gathered on the very thread which displeases you so much that you then wish to tell me about it each time, ah no, at least I am more honest with you then, simply you engage me with your replies bots, and what's more, all this would actually end if you stopped posting back like you do each time, for I am anonymous where my posts are dead from the moment I've hit this post button, instead you feed me still, but what of it, admit it then, you're having a ball enjoying this fray here, me too, so know too that if I had been remotely like that which you wanted of me, we wouldn't gathered here now, call yourself writers, indeed, ok then so where's your on-line readership for all your negativity towards me, I mean who can judge your books elsewhere, but anyone can quickly see these posts you do here, so trump it of lump it then, bring on the posts now, show me up and put me in my place then, or we can be friends with you letting the livewriters be for once..."

repost from elsewhere, another person complaining about his lot

“...I can relate...” mentioned the goblin in seeing xxxx's post, saying “...same thing happens on forumland too, in that an admin opens up a new forum in some firm expectation that what the forum deserves and merits will naturally occur because the forum is so perfect that it simply must succeed, ah but this forumland, much like your dilylife then, doesn't owe you what is right at all, it just gives you what you get instead doesn't it...”, it was as if the lupusbots on their forum had at least shown the goblin what it was really like to defy the situation by making good whatever little left that was given to them, their situation didn't decide their attitude, no their attitude seems to determine things, so the goblin just repeated it, saying “...well a forum could depend on its members, something which is both fickle and cheap in attitude, or instead it could depend solely on its admin without any guarantee whatsoever except that that admin will battle on regardless, so the question here is a simple one, simply, if one replaces the concept of "some admin on her forum" with "you in your dailylife" here, would you still judge yourself by what you have not got, just like you did in that post, or battle on like those lupusbots must, who are you by this obstacle is ever the question that one faces throughout...”

repost from elsewhere, the subject of matching ones posts

"...somewhere along the line I produce some text that I then want to do justice to by adding the right picture for it, something which can take months to find then, yet at other times it's the picture that I have, that just silently suggests a text to me, which I'll then try to put into a post, in fact, the older I get the more these pictures seem to say something and the texts seem to picture something...", at which point the goblin just laughed adding "...yes, maybe my posts are dead by the time I've hit the post button, yet whoever said that dead men tell no tales never tried their hand at writing and illustrating their posts..."

repost from a hostile forum, the "the goblin's showed up" thread

"...sorry, I don't buy your line either..." replied the goblin continuing "...yes, one learns for oneself and does whatever it takes for one's muse's sake, but one doesn't accept the notion of compromise here, of that trying to be the writer now, or that trying to please those unknown readers as that's just fail big time, where it was you who said "I don't think that you have to read other writer's works to be a writer" whereas I would put it "if one's trying to be a writer then that probably means that one isn't one"...", the goblin's mind was thinking upon the writer's club in geneva now, saying "...actually, you could always tell a writer from those wannabes then, simply the wannabes gives advice, theorizes, and told one what they were going to write next whereas a writer just turned up with what he or she had written...", adding "...btw I wrote "with poetry it's not good or bad or correct, it's powerful that matters" in my previous post, but now I feel that being honest might even be more important than being powerful here, where I'll stick by "listen to your heart" cliche then, why, because over time most usable lines becomes cliches anyway so what's the point in avoiding them if they're right for the context..."

"...chin up, we all have down periods and they often tell us more about ourselves than when everything is going to plan..." said the goblin who loved seneca's quote misfortune is the chance to show character, but then he just added "...besides, just think of how many forums I had to go through to be where I am now, whereas if I'd caved in to what they wanted of me, or given up because of them too, I'd be dead before my time as their accepted whatever then, but no, it's chin up, post on, and win through..."

repost from elsewhere, chatting with the lupusbots on their "last post" thread

"...so it's an exchange between us then..." said the goblin looking at the honest replies, continuing "...it's just that you remind me each time that the moneygod is cheap for his trinkets, whereas "real value" is something far more intense then, especially where it is not so freely given as to be taken for granted...", the goblin explained further, saying "...you see, most people take tomorrow together with their homes together with their families and loved ones too, in fact everything then, for granted, ah but not you lupusbots, no, your eyes are far more open to real reality in that respect, whereas the truth is that no one has any more life than anyone else, simply we're just sharing this moment called "now" together, that's all, so you appreciate life more than them, where I just want to be with people who appreciate life it seems, simply I tap into your vibe of courage and appreciation then, where in this exchange I am the real winner here, for you open my eyes lupusbots, for you smack real value in my face, telling me not to chase trinkets then, and thus I am ever yours by your lesson here where my pen too is yours for the reading if you so wish, after all, don't we share this moment together still..."

repost from elsewhere, a troll's site "last post" thread

the goblin landed, saying "...the great thing about your posts trolls, is that one only has to read the first post to know what the thread is not actually about, which does kind of narrow down the possibilities somewhat, so then one mentions either "football" or "shopping" to get to gender, followed by some line like "sesame street is better than tellytubbies" to get the country, rounding it off with some corny comment like sanity is too predictable to be of much use here, now isn't that just so trolls, while adding a picture below to make an acceptable troll-like post here of course...", where somehow the goblin knew the trolls would now be looking up to him, for hadn't he spelled out their troll nature out to them, saying "...well if this posts inspires you to a higher level, it's probably because I've taken last post on your thread again MYAHAHAHAHAHA..."

repost from elsewhere, the "day in a life" thread

"...good afternoon..." said the goblin who had changed his plan for today, that is that instead of his usual afternoon nap he would just daydream that he was on some tropical island, that is for two reasons then, first that in his nap he might dream about his work meaning no advance whatever since it was his work-time anyway, and second, that awakening from his sleep might it is bigger shock realizing one is stuck at one's galley-slave workbench than it is if his mind just returned from its daydream to notice his arms are still pulling those oars then, and the goblin says "...take it away arms then..." and starts singing "mine arms have seen the coming of the story of the snored who are rowing out the rhythm where this goblin's self is oared" and with that somehow the goblin's daydream stretched out far before him
