no actually you have a lot of homework to do yet before saying stuff like this... Vikings lived in tribes and it is true that the greatest warrior ruled the tribe, but vikings in generel weren't violent they were farmers and men of the sea. Most of viking "armies" were made up of mercenaries as the normal vikings were ordinary people... How can you call a peaceful people living with nature not against it these things when you call yourself a christian and never think of the crusades that happend not so long ago and the new wave of crusades the USA are on right now... I really hate it when ignorant people like yourself say all that about the vikings without anything to back it up, maybe other than roman scriptures who wanted us (yes I am dane traced far far back, which is why I take it so personal) to look like savages so they would have an excuse to make their never ending raids against us... and as for the asatru being americana.. well just about as american as my ass... you just adobted it in small bits... Saying that it was established in island in the 60's again is absurt, when actually it never went away... there have always been asatru in the norse countries.. trust me I know some of them.. But the major topic, odinism sounds weird to me the main thing in Ásatrú is that there are more gods, each with their own strengths (and weaknesses)...
