nah, ocean city gets a lot of punks and a lot of people get killed there...

rehoboth is much more quiet and as long as you're not acting retarded, then it's all good :D

ocean city a hippie haven?? wtf....... I guess I was only there for a couple days, but I didnt see anything that even remotely make it seem like a hippie haven....... it was all commercialized. Id think rehoboth beach in delaware, would be more like a hippie haven than OC. I guess I was lucky that the cops never gave me much trouble there.

austin texas is a whole different place compared to the rest of texas. very open minded area, compared to the conservative rednecks of the rest of the state. there are parks everywhere, and its known as the live music capital of the world, of course hippies would like that kind of place.

I haven't been to this post in a while... But it looks like SOMEONE really has a lack of imagination. Could you at least be creative? Entertaining, perhaps? Or is it just beyond your mental capacity?

Anyhoo, back to pleasant conversation, if one can call getting hassled by the cops "pleasant conversation."

Yeah, I gotta agree with interval_illusion here. My retarded friend that I went with last year when this happened has invited me again. I think it's something about being a hopeless 24 year old computer nerd that gets laid once a year. It's an event that's kind of like Christmas for him. So he preys on the little drunken 17 year old girls who don't know any better. Friggin' creep.

You know it, LotusBlossom! Unfortunately, in MD, there's very few places you can enjoy what little nature that hasn't been disturbed by people for reasonable prices. For example, the nicest place in the OC area is Assateague Island, and you have to pay $10 just to get on the damn thing.
