And to add: i'm against the ACA. The insurance companies are benefitting by people getting subsidies from the government to pay for it. Who gets the money? The insurance companies. They need to be gone and a single pay system is needed. You know--like the civilized countries, such as Denmark or France. And some not so civilized. Like Mexico.

 

I do favor the man who makes more than welfare and has actually worked a day in his life and built it up to a million dollar business. They are the true Americans who took the plunge to fulfill their dream. Not sit on their ass and wait for "handouts".

The corporations care more than the muslim HNIC barry. If they cant keep a work force because its easier to sit on you're ass and collect osamas shit how can they help? Surveyed. Been a roofing contractor for years and take care of myself, thank you. Have been in 6 unions and have seen first hand how non-union workers are treated. It just twists my tail that people have no sense of history regarding how workers have been treated , particularly in the last century when trying to protect themselves from the excesses of the greedy. Think this is the first time the bankers and corporate america has fucked the middle class. Check out 1833 for a starting point and work on up from there. It continues ,only without the goons to bloody people up that want fairness from those who have no idea of it.

 

Fairness means many different things to many different people, Scratcho. No one side or ideology has a monopoly on it.

 

Fairness to me is (within this capitalist system) is a strong working middle class. The more money the middle class earns, the more they spend. The more they spend, the products they buy and the money spent for them would allow even more products to be made and sold. I don't give a shit if a guy who has the guts and moxie to start a business and make a few million dollars. But I don't think a person should make 20 -30 million dollars while paying those who make/sell those products cheap wages. This 'NEW WORLD ORDER' bullshit is killing this country. Except for those that own the legislators.

 

I'm right there with you when it comes to a strong middle class, but I don't think wage controls like those I think you have in mind are the answer.

There is part of you're problem, Too many think they need $25 an hour to put 'NUT ON BOLT'. Lack of education so you pay the union to go stick their hands out for you.

But people like you are the reason the country sits where it sits. Blame big $$ cause you cant make $$ on you're own. Or you get a job and stick you're hand out after you pay you're union dues for more $$ an hour.

I'm 74 man. Those jobs were when I was young. Let me say this: I don't usually call people names and get all excited. Occasionally I do. and when I do --I almost feel that those with whom I have argued have won. So, excuse me please. But don't think that I haven't seen and been in this society when it was fair. it's twisted out of shape beyond anything i have seen from Roosevelt to Obama. he's a big disappointment to me, but for differant reasons than some of you have. Being 74 , Scratch , your worries should be minimal.. You don't have to get involved with obyscare. You have earned your medicare. You are fortunate. I have talked with many people , much younger , wishing they were 65 to avoid this ordeal. If you are 74 and can still roof ; you should be able to tolerate sun , sex and sand and retirement ; why not?

Six people signed up for obyscare during the first week. One month ago. The realization is now hitting home. Once again , the middle class is screwed. Besides failure to launch ; this becomes not only financial revenue sharing but becomes "health" sharing as well. Young , healthy folks simply have ignored the dysfunctional program.
