I call bullshit. Show me one speech or statement were Obama comes off as an angry black man.

Are you listening to the same speeches I am ? When I hear him speak about race, it is purely in terms of his background, events and people who affected his life. All politicians who are running for office speak about their background, it gives voters insight into their character. I don't see a divisive candidate at all, I see a man who is reaching out to all people and saying, here I am, this who I am, this is what I am and I would like to be your President.

I could say the same thing about the Repubs wanting McCain. So, with all those losers, liars, and criminals at the top of the heap, this campaign for president is actually quite INSULTING to the intelligence of Americans as a whole. Of course if nobody is smart enough to notice....

Maybe SOMEONE just did this for an experiment to see just how gullible and stupid the American public really is. A three ring circus full of clowns couldn't be more entertaining. But definately NOT presidential material.

There is no ONE speech I can point to. It's all of them put together forming a big picture. The way he repetitively goes on and on and on and on and on about his black ancestry (while putting on his best "black accent" and Martin Luther King stance) looks for all the world like the ramblings of an insecure person over-reacting. The lies he tells related to same would seem to show that he has "issues" regarding his ancestry. Many times insecurity comes out in ways you would not expect, and "anger" can be well masked as many different things if your agenda is to convince AVERAGE people of something. Guess I'm just looking a little deeper than the image he tries to present on the surface. It's called psychology. It's called "body language" for lack of a better term. And what about his truth problem?

Hey, don't feel like your fav is being singled out. Hillary is DANGEROUS. For a number of reasons. And John McCain is a total fool. I'm quite certain that O-bomb-a will win. He's black, therefore he needs to do a lot of ass kissing to keep people's approval. He will obviously say whatever it takes to gain favor. His Campaign issues sound wishywashy for someone who is all about "change." So he's be the easiest to manipulate. His "changes" are quite non-threatening to the real controllers agenda.

Hillary is an ASSERTIVE FEMALE. She may try to appear as if she would be just what the scoundrels ordered, but if she takes a wild Menopausal hair, she could be a real loose cannon. Not satisfactory to the REAL controllers of things...

And McCrap, well, that's a planned lose if you ask me. He's stupid and a warrior to boot. He's damn near playing kissyface with George Bush. And I think we are ALL sick and tired of war AND George. So that's a no-brainer.

He said no such thing in that speech. He said he was born because his father was given the opportunity to come to the US. Nothing in this clip is angry, in fact if anything it supports my position. He pointed out that his father was given a chance for a better life because people in this country were able to come together and say, this is the right thing to do.

He does not source anything he says nor even directly quotes his sources. This simply an opinion piece and is entirely irrelevant to the issue at hand, I can give you links to dozens of other similar sites which praise Obama's honor and integrity, they to are irrelevant.

 

So you are telling me you think Obama comes off as an angry black man, but can not point to a single speech he has given which supports this perspective ? Further, you are saying he hides his anger and it comes out in ways that only you can detect ?

 

I'm not saying he hides his "anger". I'm saying it's coming out in different ways. And maybe it's NOT anger, maybe it IS insecurity. Those two things are VERY closely related... Apparently I'm not the only one who sees it. If you look around, there seem to be a lot of other folks gathering the same "opinions" I am. And that IS what the election is all about, swaying OPINIONS.

I also see him being a great A--kisser. He always comes up with just the right words to say to make someone go "oh, I guess he must be ok then..."

I reckon he's doing so well because the majority of folks WITH opinions are not looking much past the surface. They WANT him to be the one so badly for whatever reasons they don't see the obvious, which is that he's a "yes" man. And more so than most, due to his skin color most likely (insecurity). He overcompensates. Which makes it obvious. His "accent" comes and goes depending on who he is trying to impress. He DID say his conception was a result of something that happened in '65, when he was born in '61. Perhaps I posted the wrong clip? A lot of folks heard it and saw it, not just me. There were many articles written about it. Those people didn't ALL imagine it, did they? But that's just one small thing to get all caught up in. The small things do add up tho, to a big picture.

All his yacking about black this and black that seems to be leading somewhere in particular. He might be figuring that he'll get elected so that us Americans can pat ourselves on the back and say "look how open-minded we are, we're not racist". Perhaps THAT will make the rest of the world like us again?... Perhaps he's trying for some SYMPATHY. Or digging out that little bit of guilt we feel when we think about slavery... Make us feel like we need to DO something for the "black man" to make ourselves feel better.

I'm sorry, I've watched enough videos of him to see how he works. I just really have a hard time stomach-ing too much more of his "poor black man" propaganda, and his total lack of respect for people and their opinions who he has had past dealings with simply because he's trying too hard to be "politically correct". His entire demeanor would indicate it's all about appearances and he would stab anyone in the back if he thought it might make him look better.

But don't let my observations bother you so much, I again will say that he most likely WILL win. My opinion is just that. But in a presidential campaign it's ALL ABOUT OPINIONS. The only reason I posted here at all is because I DO see these things, as well as other people, and I hope that those who would think he is really ALL THAT and somehow going to save us, might want to look at him a little harder. I suggest the same for the other mainstream candidate supporters. I think people need to open their eyes and LOOK at these candidates, for pete's sake! It's a freaking circus! I sure wouldn't trust any of them with MY life! We are going to be screwed no matter which mainstream gets in office. I HIGHLY doubt McCrap has a chance, so I figure it's just down to 2 choices. At least if Pillary gets it, we will KNOW things are gonna get tough, with Obama, we could get some real nasty surprises we are not prepared for. Like it or not, there is a war going on right here and right now, and WE are the enemy. There is not one mainstream candidate (the ones with any chance at all) in the bunch who represents the majority of us. So we are pretty much on our own on this one folks.

 

A week ago I would have agreed Obama would most likely win, now I doubt he will. You will get what you want, Obama will be beaten with this endlessly for the next couple of weeks. He will loose the next several primaries by wide margins and the Superdelegates will start shifting to Hillary. Hillary will then be the Democratic nominee, she will loose to McCain and any chance of even small change will have slipped through our fingers again.

 

Doubtin' I'll have what I want in this lifetime, just being perceptive. You honestly think she could lose to McCain??? Are the American people really that stupid as to vote for him??? McCain has already hung himself over and over again. I doubt too many INTELLIGENT folks will actually vote for him. So, if Billary takes Ob in the final lap like you say, you actually think McCain will come out on top of the orgy pile? That is a really sickening thought. Doesn't it ever occur to anyone that NONE of the mainstream candidates are worth a plug nickel? I'd be ashamed to support any of them. Maybe ALL their dirty little secrets will finally get the better of them and then Ron Paul can make a clean sweep, no longer burdened with the three stooges stealing the spotlight any longer. Wow, imagine what would happen if actual REALLY SERIOUS (not soap opera stuff) scandals came out about ALL three of the mainstream candidates and it finally became obvious to everyone that NOT ONE of them was fit to be in the Whitehouse. Oh, but I suppose that can't happen either, the election is probably fixed and the winner is already secretly chosen. And the lucky "winner" is... Not us.

I guess the bottom line of what I'm getting at is if this is all they are offering us in a choice of presidents, we are:

1.a lot worse off than I ever thought
2. screwed
3.being insulted and abused by a government that thinks we are all stupid and more interested in soap operas than politics.

Sorry, I just can't believe anyone would vote for any of those three.

1. I can vote for the Democratic nominee.

2. I can vote for the Green party nominee.

3. I can join the party of apathy and cynicism

 

You COULD vote for Ron Paul.

 

Why would I vote for someone who disagrees with me on most every issue ? The only thing we do agree on is the massive waste of lives, money and time the Iraq war is. At least I agree with Obama 50% of the time.

Ask yourself this, Ron Paul raised 20-25 million dollars during his bid for President. How much has he spent so far, 5 million dollars, MAYBE ? Where is the rest of that money going ? He does not need it for his own re-election camapigns, he runs more or less unopposed and in the last few election cycles he has not spent more than 1.5 million dollars, which he easily raises. My guess is later this year, very quietly, he will shift 15 million or so to the RNC and/or the NRCC, he is after all a Republican.

I am unconfortable with the Media's swooning, un-critical regard Of Sen. Obama.

Media is supposed to be watching politicians, keeping them in check, not letting the ego swell, offering critique.

If Chris Matthews is speakiing of getting the chills from listening to Obama, I need to tune in a more objective media.

Obama should be questioned on the nihlistic belief system espoused in his Church.

It was fair to question Mitt Romney about his church, cuts both ways.
