Do you know Cesaire died last month?

They are rarely held accountable. The same sort of people have run the United States since 1775, although the modern versions are a bit dumber. And yes, 1775, when the Second Continental Congress convened. Political Capitalism rules this nation. In case our friends the "practical" voters do not know.

Of course capitalism rules, it always has, but don't you wanna at least try and steer it a bit?

I know, I know, it sucks, it's always sucked, and it's not gonna change, so what's the point, right?

    Sorry to hear about Cesaire.

The point is: Turn on, tune in, drop out.

    More like Cop out.

C'mon, man, Anarchy is one thing, but blowing everything off and saying fuck it is another. Are you hip, spiritually enlightened, do you meditate? All the people I know who are like that are passionate about the world, empowered, alive, and we all share the same vision of change, and are willing to do something about it.

My friend who's a Buddhist monk is voting for Obama.

I've got a couple college degrees. I'm still an idiot.

I agree and disagree with the whole "Turn on, tune in, drop out" thing. To me, I do it half and half. I'm very involved in keeping track with politics and learning more, but at the same time I don't let it be my only reality, i don't let it take over my life... I do turn on, tune in, and drop out. But I always come out of my hole every once in a while to see what's going on... then hide back in my bunker.

A bunker? I'm so sorry to hear that, I hang my shit in the wide open, my kids do the same, no bunkers. We are free people...and we'll fight (if necessary) to keep it that way. Don't take freedom for granted, but if you can, run with it.

    Be well.

To steer it, Yes. the point is not to run it off the road.

Amen to that. I read that Congress has a Veto proof majority behind the Farm Subsidy Bill. I'd love to hear Sen. Obama speak up and urge Bush to veto it!

You forgot to put the "d" on the last word.

Wait until this politico is in office about 6 months, you'll wish you had crawled into a hole too.

On second thought maybe you don't know what w i n d spells. Ha. Ha. Ha.

Neo Con what? Are you smoking weed? Good for you. Must be good stuff since you "actively vote." I "inactively vote." Usually, that is inactively, for my favorite candidate, Mr. Herr Niemann He runs for the Universal Hippie Party. He's a German. Ha. Ha. Ha.

OK. I'll vote for Gus Hall, so long as he won't take office. How about Emma Goldman? She can't cause trouble either. She had the right idea, however.

you'd think if this was such a great country and Bush and all the other assholes were doing such a great job that maybe you know, we wouldn't have so many problems, we wouldn't be in a war, and people wouldn't HATE the president and the government?

Well I do not like Obama. But I dislike McCain even more. But both are better than the 2 subhumans in office now Bush/Cheney.Obama got a "free ride" by the media. And Obama and McCain both do not want to do anything about the huge illegal alien problem in the US.Pathetic! If Obama is really for the working man his first priority would be to deport every illegal alien. Its ashame in a country with so many intelligent people we get such garbage as a choice for Pres.
