i like how everyone here has started the whole "snide references" pissing contest at some point in time then gets all holy when it's someone else's turn...
hell, forgot my post. anyway, i don't see why anyone should be prevented from joining their lot with another person's. i think a few basic ground rules should apply. if your gay and get married, don't expect some holy roller bible thumper to call it a marriage or officiate it in their church. why do people have to be gay to get married? why can't straight people of the same sex who want to join their assets together do so? why should legal unions apply only to people "in love?" they should have all the same rights to get divorced and pay alimony that all the rest of us poor fuckers do.
