anyone who knows anything about plant matter knows what happens when you put it in the microwave.

datura can also make you go blind or seriously damage your eyesight. stick with acid (not in syringes).. just because it gets you high doesnt mean it should be eaten. this plant should not be consumed in any way.

Man let me tell you something. Out of me and three of my friends (Jeremy, Daniel, and Benny) which are all experienced drug users, Datura is the only drug none of us will ever try again. Not only that but while we were on it, all of us wished we were sober.


We were stupid when we took it cause we did no research and we had no sitter. We all ate about a tablespoon full of seeds at around 1:00pm. All of us started in a basement apartment.

When it hit us we were so fucked up and Benny just kind of wandered off sometime but we didn't notice. This stuff is so messed up we all saw him still with us and talking to us (but he wasn't there as we later found out). So I drove me, Jeremy, and Daniel to another house about 10 minutes away (this is a really really bad thing to do on datura, never ever drive while on it, we were so lucky nothing happened). At this other house Daniel wandered off sometime. Once again we still thougth he was with us and all "four" of us were talking about who knows what, there was really only me and Jeremy there. Then I guess we finally went to sleep or something. So we wake up and it's morning, still fill pretty weird and we realize it's only us two there.

We talk about what the fuck happened last night and try to figure out when our other two friends left. We start trying to find them and call there houses. Daniel's mom hasn't seen him since he left with us yesterday. We call Benny's house and his mom starts going off on me. She's asking what the hell we gave her son because she saw him leave with us yesterday and now he is in the hospital. Later we find out he left the apartment thinking he had something to do so he walked home and was acting so fucked up, talking to his "dad" and shit except his dad lives in Chicago. So his mom takes him to the hospital. Damn so we go to the hospital to see him. When we get there we start laughing at him and talk with him. He tells us just how fucking weird it was and he doesn't really remember what he was doing. Then the Doctor comes in and is asking us what we took and stuff. We deny everthing. He then tells us an other person was brought in about 5 hours later acting the same all weird and he is a guy our age. Damn. He takes us to him and shit if it isn't Daniel.

Haha, man it was so fucking weird. So Daniel tells us what little he remembers and they doctor fills in what the cops told him. Damn, the cops where the ones who brought Daniel in. I guess what happened was when he wondered off he tried to walk home. Except he thought home was any house he could get into. People said they saw him try to break into 4 different houses, which is why the called the cops. One house was open and he just walked in. There was people upstairs and heard someone come in. They looked and here is Daniel getting shit out of the fridge and then going to sit on the couch and watching tv. He is laughing and shit like he is watching a show but the tv is off. The cops get there and Daniel insits it is his house, which is isn't. So they take him to the hospital.

We were all 18 at the time and no charges were pressed, but Daniel is still paying off his hospital bill. We all decided it was defiently something we would never want to repeat. Now sometimes when we kick it we still talk about that time.

Anyways, that is my story on Datura. I'm pretty sure after you do it once you won't want to do it again. Althought it wasn't enjoyable, i'd say try it once just to see what full on real halucinations are. This is pretty much what it is like to be schizophrenic. As long as you have a sitter or two you should be fine.

 

Oh yeah, I just remembered. Jeremy has a sister that was 15 at the time and knew about our whole trip. So a few weeks later her friends give her some seeds. She takes them and trips out in here basement room and doesn't tell anyone she took them. I happen to be upstairs with Jeremy at the time. All of a sudden she runs upstairs and her hair is all messed up and her clothes is all fucked up. She says a guy just came in through her window and beat her up and raped her. We run to her room and it is all fucked up. Like a serious struggle and her screen is ripped off her window and shit. We run outside to see if we see anybody. Nothing. So we ask her what the fuck happened because we notice she is acting really weird but we think it's cause she is tramatized. She keeps saying a dude came into her window and fought with her and raped her. So we call the cops and they come and talk to her and take pictures of her and her room and shit and they try to take her to the hospital to get checked but she won't go and then her mom gets there and tells the cops she will take her to the hospital. The cops finally leave and we keep asking her to tells us exactly what happened. This is when she tells us she ate some seeds and was just sitting in her room talking to her friend and a guy came to her window and her friend left and she got raped. Now we know for a fact no friend was ever there and her story just doesn't add up. To this day she is not sure if anything really happened or she was just fucked up.

but she came wandering into our tent lateat night didnt remember where shed just come from or why she was tripping so hard, but within maybe 10 minutes things got very weird, she was having a conversation with a 300 foot woman at one point, and at another shes staring directly into my eyes from 3 inches away and asking me where i am and why she can hear me but not see me..a few minutes later she wasall angry over not being able tofind nonexistent clothes she imagined washing & the craziness went on & on..when she finaly started to get sleepy i ended up just spending hours paying attention to her breathing afraid shed slip into a coma..the next morning she was gone when i woke, & when i found her shewas ok, but pretty confused & still fairly trippy, but shewas ok, and i really believe thats only because of her amazing strength..dutura is a drug that even the most hard core drug users are smart enough to be scared shitless of
its not a high its insanity
nothing can compare you for its power..and if you dareto try it, theres a chance that nothing can save you from your stupidity
if the drug itself dont kill you or put you in a coma (very possible even if your careful) the vissions & horrors you see can be just as deadly

if your dumb enough to try this, 2 sitters is a must, but they have to be 2 that you would trust with your life, cause your life is literaly in theyre hands

Yes I am clinically retarded, soaringeagle, and always up for an experience. Thank you for the enthusiastic post however. And if I do live, I'll be sure to write it down. Wasn't really going for the whole 24 hour trip, rather the light smoke up but hey, who knows what I may be in the mood for when I have a nice week long vacation.

well i heard smoking it is harmless or something because it immediately destroys the atropine. I think the only people who take this (ingesting it) are people who are not afraid of death.

 

Odd, I see quite a few stories posted among the internet and erowid regarding toking this for a more casual delirious state.

Just a few acid trips I guess, but this really doesn't compare to acid at all, it's delirium. I've dealt with delirious states under diphenhydramine but I'm sure that's nothing in the park next to Datura.

Uhhm, I'm pretty reckless I'll admit. I'm hard headed when it comes to things im dead set on trying, but I did as much research as I possibly could on it, and never had my mind set on keeping it available for a possible experiment. I honestly doubt you'd care the slightest bit of something happened to me from doing it, as you only did warn me twice now, and you probably wouldn't be able to contact my friends, as they don't use this forum, but I'm sure they'd know, as they were probably there sitting me and let something slip. (woo long sentence)

How many tokes I take amongst other things is pretty manageable, my friends could easily take the shit out of my hands if it happened to kick in immediately and I just got dillusional with the toking.

Not really doing it for the fun, rather the experience. Being able to die from the experience doesn't really bother me too much. Doesn't mean I'm going to take a risky amount, just mean it doesn't really phase me. I could probably easily accept death as I'd already be too dead to care.

i had a friend with spiders tattooed on both sides his chest and while i was sittin for him, me and his whole family had to hold him down as he was tryin to cut the spiders off him. he was completly unaware that if he stabs himself he would die and we struggled for about an hour till he calmed down. god only knows what he saw. you might think you can handle this plant but so do most people and it picks them up and throws them into complete insanity.

also i heard smoking it, whilst safer then consuming the plant raw or boiling it.. gives alot of people migranes because datura is a neurotoxin and is very poisonous for your brain.

if you made a list of the positive and negative things datura offers, youd see that your likely to get more of the bad effects then good ones and youd be stupid to still take it. is it really worth it?? like i said stick to acid tabs, 2cb, DMT and there isnt any need to take that shit.

 

pretty much. that is the only drug that i have a genuine fear of after trying it.

Man I say just fucken do it. I guarantee that you will not like it once you do though. Just make sure you have sitters that are sober, like no smoking bud or drinking even. No one I know has died from it and I now about 6 or 7 people that have done it. You will just come out of it with a crazy ass story.

 

or better yet, combine it with the second most retarded drug around, NUTMEG!!!! They both have about the same duration and both seem equal in the number of hideous side effects that come along with your psychosis.

PS. Seriously, I thought that benedryl or some other pharmaceutical was made from datura and you could get the same effects, AND be in control of your dose as to avoid an overdose. But maybe I'm wrong. Or maybe I'm right. Or I'm just stoned. Out.

 

nah they do make "over-the-counter sedatives, pills for asthma, colds, and motion sickness"... from datura or something similiar (brugmansia, henbane, belladonna and mandrake, the nightshade family i think) they all contain the same main chemicals scopolamine and atropine. i dont know the names of any pills and probably shouldnt list them any way but this is a much safer way to measure out your dose because the tropane alkaloids can vary greatly in potency from plant to plant
