Nothing really matters...

If something doesn't matter;a thought, a dream, another's thoughts, a trauma, dropping a penny on the ground, the person sitting at the table next to you who undertipped the waitress. If none of that matters then what does matter? The things you place importance on-that's arrogant, prevents one from learning fromtheir mistakes or empathizing with others. Seeing the world through rose colored glasses is the easy way to live-but not the right way to live or the way to live with purpose and meaning.

 

Oh my, how intellectually stimulating....

 

human perception= one's own perception. I grew tired of only living through my eyes. My frames are pretty but sometimes it's nice to try someone else's glasses on for a change to see if I need to update my style or perscription.

 

everything matters...you just end up putting a value on what ranks highest for what matters most to you. though, nothing can not matter, for everything does matter in one shape or another.

 

It's something I've been thinking of a lot these past few months, took awhile to grasp it and get rid of some of the selfishness to make room. Now that I have free space in my brain for others I have made so many more close friends and my relationships with people are so great and mutually fulfilling. I can honestly say I finally found myself-but I found my idenity by opening up and understanding the idenities of others.

 

If nothing matters then that is all that matters, is nothing...

I think we all place personal value on different events and feeling's but to say that, that value is even remotley correct is i agree arogant, so the best way to empathize is to understand that nothing really matters and therefore any single individual can place any amount of value on anything.

Also i don't think there is any one way to live with purpose or meaning, perhpas living life "through rose coloured glasses" would hold much more meaning to a single individual then the next. I believe this because i dont believe there is any purpose or meaning, therefore we have to find our own.

Finding your own purpose and meaning is still purpose and meaning. I am not reffering to the biblical sense. I just think living our lives as individuals rather than having individuality is lonely and self-centered.
I'm not changeless and I am not infinite but I can create change and promote infinite kindness. COnsideration for others, empathy and self-sacrafice in finding one's idenity is the only way to live a life of purity and have a spirit worth inspiraring other's self-reflection. If I only empathize that makes me a taker. If I empathize and teach that's what makes e meaningful (mattering) and pure enough to live a moral life and resist the weakness that makes me so ugly and unworthy of perceptive beauty (which I cannot see when I am apathetic, materialistic, immoral and un-understanding)
