i think all animals do it... humans (even newborn babies!), dogs, cats, rabbits... even my gerbils do it when they wake up from sleep.

almost $500 at the mechanic... front brake pads + rotors, clean up and adjust the back breaks, plus an oil change + air filter, plus tax.

    what's up, visa.

when my cat was a wee little kitty he farted and scared himself. i wish i had had it on video.

my mom always says "id stretch a mile if i didnt have to walk back." stretching can be very satisfying, or incredibly not. i hate feeling like i NEED to stretch a little bit farther and not being able to. its like a not-enough yawn, or not deep enough breath.

i have so so much to do today. i went back to sleep this morning, and shouldnt have.

so the mama dog is sick. she was treated and vaccinated against parvo last year i think, maybe the year before. i sure hope its not that, the puppies are too young to be vaccinated. and i have no other information on symptoms. it seems some of the non-parvo options are mastitis and eclampsia. neither would be good. shes a good dog, so i hope nothing happens to her.

    you got ripped royally

    pads $20
rotors usually $20 to $40 each
    oil $15
    oil filter $5
air filter $5 to $50 but rarely needs changing

should have taken less than 1 hour labor

please tell me what you are generally eating, what you generally enjoy, and your cooking skill level, and what cookware you have available. also the amount of available freezer space. and anything else you think might be pertinent. i'd like to help.

most of the time eating right is a matter of time. time to learn what foods are healthy, time figuring out what to make with said foods, time practicing until you can cook half asleep, and then time to put it together. i have to get up 15 minutes earlier to get a proper cooked breakfast in front of my son, the sugary cereals are hurting his behavior in school. so 15 minute gets spent on an 'extra' that really isnt. hell, people used to have an enormous spread for breakfast, particularly on farms. if they could spend an hour cooking breakfast, whats a modern 15 minutes?

eating crap food: aint nobody got time for that. :)

you're not going to get an oil change here for less than $40, air filter on top of that. i haven't changed the air filter for the last few oil changes, so it needed it. these guys are consistently cheaper than 90% of the mechanics in the area, things are just more expensive in the city than they are up north in the middle of nowhere :p
