    Hugs are important.
    I hate that people (including myself) sometimes feel awkward giving them and thus abstain from doing it. Giving hugs shouldn't be awkward. They were specifically designed NOT to be awkward, a carefree expression of affection, but somehow they have turned into that.
    I always admire someone who can give a hug freely and un-self-consciously. We need more people like that.
